Alright guys! please no fighting. We are like brothers after all. I know you don't want to consider yourself as burmese, BUT no matter what you says we LOVE you Mon people! :) We even consider your king as our great king :) if something happens to you, we all Bamar people got your back! If someone hurts our Mon people, we(Bamar) will go beat that someone's ass ok? Peace! :) Mon people are the BEST!

Shame on you!!! I'm a Mon too but I'm proud to be a part of Myanmar, and I'm proud to be Burmese. Every country have their own History and it doesn't matter what was in the past and I suggest you to read the the Myanmar History carefully, so that you would understand. And I'm proud to be BURMESE!!

Why so? Burmans honor Rajadhirat as one of their kings (great epic Rajadhirat Struggles or Razadarit Ayaetawbon is an obvious example), and embrace Baña Thau as their queen. Burmans learn stories of great Mon warriors, like Raja Manu, Smin Bran and Laguun Ein, since their early school years. We are all children of the Union, after all.
