Hey man! This is Hazed the blurple list you shared with the Genie in it. First I want to thank you for highlighting my list, I am honored. As for what the genie does I’d say it makes for some weird interactions for your opponent and you can also tap it down the same turn it’s played with your Ursula. I was able to do that pretty consistently throughout the day in a very very stacked tournament at the Tampa SCG. I went into a lot more detail on the deck itself on a video I made on my channel for anyone who wants a more detailed answer. Thanks again and feel free to ask if you have any other questions!

Im on a very similar ruby saph list as the winner. Im running more copies of how far ill go tho, if ruby saphire is gonna be the best deck in this set you have to be ready for the mirror. 4x mal dragon instead of 3x might be a consideration too depending on the meta you expect to show up

Ooof, I’m not saying Inktable AI is any good but I loaded in that R/S winner deck and it was just as inconsistent as it looks… absolutely eviscarated the deck every single time, 100% on the draw to be at a disadvantage, to my Ruby Steel locations deck

Hi, i appreciated the feature of my John deck! So to answer a couple of your points, I tried 2 shield and it was clunky which is why i went to 1. As for john living, his stat line requires specific answers so he lives more than you'd think especially if a triton came down the prior turn to bait out the removal. We ended up splitting the top 8 but i was 1 seed after swiss so the only red blue i played against was in round 1 and ultimately it came down to who found hiram first and could out draw the other player. Tipo powering out a turn 3 john exerted a lot of pressure since i won game 3 by going john on 3, pawp+hiram on 4 to also bring pawp back to draw 4 cards and the game basically ended right there on that turn.

Mirabel in Steelsong with sing ZtH after flooding the board makes 5 characters on board kinda reasonable. I might need to try that out, instead of being win more it might become win now, which is a reasonable use case.

Love seeing decks like the first item build. I get that not everything can be good, but the sheer creativity while making something competitive and viable is very commendable. If you have the talent, building decks like that is far more rewarding and fun than just choosing a meta deck.

So many personal brew cards popping up in lists lately, love to see it. Whats your favorite card to brew around right now?

Love this video! I am always in favor of theme decks (I've built Family Madrigal, Brooms, Pirates, Seven Dwarfs - pre set 5, Musketeers). To be honest, though, seeing the title of this video gave me a bit of false hope that "Rogue" meant affordable. Excluding the Merlin deck, however, you've got a playset of at least one $30+ (USD) card in every build. Sadly, the "money" cards in my collection after five sets and dozens of packs opened are one copy of Daisy, and two Whole New Worlds. The Ratigan deck makes me want to go back and watch that movie again... it's been a long time. As for the hyena deck, if you like the idea of Stitch but don't want the uninkable, you could always run Beast - Forbidding Recluse instead. Same cost for a 3/4 inkable, but only 1 damage when played. Another option might be the new Yzma - Unjustly Treated. She is 4 uninkable, 1/4 quests for 2, and when you banish an opposing character in a challenge, she deals 1 damage. I have designed versions of Jafar, Queens, and Seven Dwarfs Knights, and it is nice to see other perspectives on them. When I build location-based decks in Steel, I usually like to run two copies of Map, but that's just me.

Yooo! I’m friends with the guy whose deck you talked about after Brennan’s! Super stoked to see him mentioned, he’s an awesome guy and a phenomenal player, plus a great testing partner. We both played SteelSong this weekend and he ended up playing against Brennan and Luca Serano, which I thought was awesome. One interesting difference between our decks is that I ran three Daisy’s and he ran none. Still trying to figure out how much I do/don’t like them. I also had a few more uninkables than he does, so that changed a few things. Ended up playing him on Sunday in the 2k event and bricked on the first game, so I may have to cut back.

Zarek here. I got cooked by decandio in top 4. The biggest issue was the 4 naveen. The RA gameplan has always been to deal with their big singers but being able to develop a readied singer that can only be answered by medusa or prep on the following turn multiple times was impossible to fight back from especially when losing a lot of those copies to AWNW

Glad sapphire steel is showing up again. Any thoughts on if you'd prefer chicha or Tipo in a blue steel wheel deck?

Welp. Not looking good for that diverse meta we were enjoying. Hope this is just a small outlier.

The main issue with playing the broom and the chernabogs with library is sometimes you can draw too many cards and that feels horrible when they all get wheeled away. Plus the Followers and Brooms get sniped out early as turn 2 against Storm and Cinderella.
