This talk is just be. They don’t know a thing about residents - they didn’t mention once about residents or fellows, after the first a few minutes of news coverage. There are three acute problems in current residency programs that directly contribute to resident burnout and dropout: 1, long working hours (80hr / week) 2, low hour pays ($60-70k / year) 3, high volume of administrative chores (work that nurses and case workers and admin should do) These problems themselves have a lot of published researches - honestly self evident, their consequences are dire - to the patient safety and the resident wellbeing.
thanks awfully, that's a huge help
Great take. Pleasant suprise when it comes to this topic.
@@samm7334 thanks for watching. We recommend checking out the full episode. This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Ed’s views on AI.
Humana is making a boat loads of money. Every other commercial on tv is a Humana commercial. It’s ridiculous! Worth investigating!
Very true for hypothyroid which is NOT rare, but cookie cutter treatments do not work for 20-30% of patients, representing millions of untreated and under treated Patients.
We did a great episode with Nasha Fitter (FOXG1 Research Foundation), where we discussed the importance of rare disease research. In that episode, Nasha made excellent points about how rare diseases aren’t all that rare and could hold key insights for larger, more well-known conditions. We recommend giving it a listen!
Stop killing babies
Lighting to harsh, camera is at wrong angle, you don’t talk to the camera but rather the ceiling a lot. Flipped to next video after about 4 seconds.
What about people with cancer? They don't seem to care. Why?
John, An expansion of LTC insurance coverage by either the state or federal government is interesting to consider. I’m curious how that would complement Medicaid. Individuals purchasing LTC insurance as part of their estate planning and is paid for by individuals. Medicaid, on the other hand, is for people unable to pay for their care. (And yes, many people do move assets while preplanning to qualify for Medicaid). Wouldn’t federal or state funding for LTC policies be redundant with Medicaid funding? We know that many ppl move assets to later qualify for Medicaid, wouldn’t tightening regulations of this kind of estate planning be a better fix to Medicaid dollars being over spent? Medicaid currently looks back 5 years with gifting or moving assets. Should they change this?
So much kool-aid being drunk. In my company the CEO has gone off the deep end and and just keeps saying "we are an AI first company...we must be leading in AI...etc" , we are not primarily a tech company. It's just all so tiresome. The LLMs are great tools, up to a point, but it's not 'revolutionary', and the costs will rise exponentially to even squeeze just a tad more out of them.
Great interview #thanks
Maybe that guy's head will burst when he realises that AI is not a bubble at all.
No it's not in bubble, because it doesn't even exist, you're talking to a bot which doesn't understand shit when it's talking back to you .🤣
If you sell your OpenAI stock now, you’ll be fine, bro. Just like those crypto and NFT guys.
yikes, please do your research on betterhelp before accepting their sponsorship, they are such a scummy practice and its widely known among the self help industry.
HUMANA IS A FRAUD. A COMPANY THAT PORTENDS TO A AMERICAN BASED BUT HAVE THEIR TELEPHONE ANSWERING SERVICE IN A COUNTRY NOTORIOUS FOR DATA BREACHS AND IDENTITY THEFT. AND THAT'S WHY AMERICAN ELDERLY ARE BEING TARGETED
Preach, Ed!
Do you agree with Ed? What do you think the future holds for AI? Sound off in the comments!
You used beautiful language to describe the violent murder of an innocent unborn child.
You Humana is Taking Money From the Poor and Given it to the Rich!!!
My daughter served in the Army and you Mean to tell me that you're gonna take money from people income that is SO low that's why they need you and they need to spend the card but you're gonna 2 cut $25 off Money of a spending card Humana is cheating us they're getting government money and keeping most of it They are taking away from people because of their profits
Then the government needs to pull back on what they give Humana to give to us Kamala Harris will see to that
Humana doesn't care about us Their only concern is profit if you take $25 from someone Mother that's One low-incomeThe security SSI AND Daughter That has Served in the Army what does that Day About, Humana,?😢 To take money away from people and One of there family There's have served Army what does that say about Humana insurance that they are out for themselves they don't really care about You. But God is watching them!!!
And here's the professional lying sell-out, Rick Bright, responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of Americans, trying to spread fear all over again. And he's facilitated in doing so by his accomplices at 'CareTalk'.
Amazing. All talk around human vitality and health centers around dollars.
Lmao
Good info, bad acting lol. "You with your statistics!" "Oh you gave me a hard time about those statistics but here's some more!" Be more podcasty, have a real conversation.

Then why is still one of the leading causes of death in America Medical negligence
This was really interesting to listen to. Thanks for doing this
Thank you for listening!
what managed care model? they were never at the forefront of patient outreach or other impactful preventative services compared to other facilities. theyre just known for understaffing.
Lies My Doctor Told Me
John Driscoll seems rather rude.
Adderall shortage? Sounds more like Subracterall!
the senator also claimed that Trump helped more Americans get health insurance coverage. This, too, was the exact opposite of reality: The uninsured rate went down under Obama, up under Trump, and then down again under Biden.
They have to wait 2 3 years to get a family doctor in Canada its terrible they come to the US if they have serious issues
FACT, health care went down ever since Clinton tried to make it commie gov killing fields. Didn't work when true doctors that built their own practices and paid their own malpractice insurance. FACT, at that time with even lower med knowledge and lower tech, malpractice deaths and great bodily injury was 88 on the kill list. Now with far greater tech and medical knowledge, the THIRD LEADING CAUSE OF PREMATURE DEATH AND GREAT BODILY INJURY IS COMMITTED BY THE HEATH CARE PROVIDERS. The stats do not lie, it followed allowing folks into a field of medicine they had no business getting into, especially since they do not oay for their own malpractice insurance, the mega industry corps does it, while owning the insurance corps also.
I'd love to see DEI doctors move into these minority areas. You will soon find they will get an Uber to the non minority doctors for the majority higher IQ's. Heard it countless times as far back as the 90s. No excuses now, med schools have been allowing C- average IQs into their schools as far back as 1989 just to fill seats to get gov funds. We get what we ask for and what we allow.
i worked for steward for five years. management treated their employees very poorly.
Hmm
Doctors have massive student loans. No other country subjects its med students to this. They are becoming cogs in the medical industrial complex. I know a young doc who just left med school She will not practice medicine because of what she saw in Med School docs. are tools of big pharma and pill dispensers. My friend got a MPH and is going into research
Even low cost services are starting to need prior authorization. I'm practicing Chiropractic for 30 years and have never seen as much nonsense for a $16 service. Time to go back to fee for service care. Until then, your insurance company is calling the shots on your health.
Everybody has a price. Even doctors.
Communism is a sociopolitical, philosophical, and economic ideology within the socialist movement, whose goal is the creation of a communist society, a socioeconomic order centered around common ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange that allocates products to everyone in the society based on need.
What he is talking about is a very subversive, subtle, seductive (as well as intentional) strategy among WBWMP to rid the earth of as many non-white bodies so that WBWMP can rule the earth and truly be in a dominant position of "ruling the world"...the ancient need of ALL EVIL, or if you want to, you can call it...anti-christ activity.
Nationwide care matters plan
Too expensive
Is that because our metrics have "evolved" and our purpose is being erased?
Great points. Great speakers.
are any other gen z tired of hearing people of higher generations constantly talk about the issue of gen z being the “misery generation?” i know i am. every generation above us calls us out and every single one of them blames it on social media, and it might be true that that is the cause, but i hear it absolutely everywhere, it’s on every podcast, every radio station interruption. we get it!! we’re miserable and depressed on the internet!! but nobody wants to do anything to combat it?
Unfortunately, this isn’t exclusive to Gen-Z. This has been the case with every generation. Older generations will always be concerned for younger generations.
