Unlimited Vertical is a term used by RC Airplane pilots when a plane has enough thrust to overcome the pull of gravity and travel vertically indefinitely. This channel is about building and flying model (remote control) aircraft. Flight videos, scratch build videos, tips, tricks and advice.

3 1/2 months of construction equipment in "MY" park, 3 1/2 months of noise all day ... tearing up my little neighbourhood. I've pretty much had enough of it, but at 5:30am all is peaceful and quiet so it's time to get a quick flight in and survey the chaos before the workers arrive. I flew once in February ... but nothing fancy and once last month ... again just a gentle cruise. This is pretty much my first "real" flying in 2024. First flight was pretty rusty but by midway through the 2nd everything felt good and I was really enjoying it!

Hi , may I ask where to buy 1.5mm to 3mm corrugated plastic sheet.
The only corrugated plastic I have purchased was from Home Depot. I can't remember what the thickness was but I would guess it was 4mm. This is about the same thickness as is (was) commonly used in real estate and election signs.
I build lots of corrugated plastic aircraft but I use 2mm thick. Glue...white glue or hot melt plus super bond packaging tape.

The motors were "new" last year, the rest of the build is fairly old. It does fly great, very happy with it. I'm still a die hard running analog and 4s.

Thanks for the video. I have used the plastic board for combat planes. Very strong. I liked your use of inserted wire inserted and glued inside the board as a support, and the use of carpet tape for mounting the servos. Excellent ideas. What was your thrust angle on your motor? Thanks in advance.

@@jimsdroneing half of it is water main replacement and the other half is ruining a perfectly good park by putting up a "shade structure" that as far as I can tell nobody asked for. My kids and their friends used to play soccer and football in that park...now there's some nice concrete running right through the middle.

Nice flying and Nice wing. Do you have a build video on this one?
This one is basically the same as the "Iron Man" wing (like in comment)...but better technique used when gluing it together to remove anything that might cause the hot glue to not hold (i.e. scuff/heat the surface and not paint it in advance). Also has a more powerful motor on it (Turnigy 2826 maybe) 2200kv ...if I was building it again I would probably do it with 4S capable ESC and use a 4S 2200kv-2500kv quadcopter motor. Hi, thanks for the video. I made a wing like you. My wing flies perfectly like a glider without a motor. But with the engine, it makes a dead loop in the air, and then burrows into the ground. I am using an 11x3.8sf cm composite propeller. What propeller are you using for your airplane. thank you.

The first half of the video was from the onboard HD camera, the 2nd half was the same flight from the goggle recording.

It's been a while and I wasn't a fan of the -19C but I had to get one flight in...luckily it wasn't windy so it didn't feel too bad. Still, I wasn't trying anything too difficult...didn't want to do the walk of shame 🙂
