Indian Science, Technology and Engineering facilities Map (I-STEM) is a National Multidisciplinary R&D Resource Web-portal, launched by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, on January 3, 2020. This is a unique initiative supported by all the prominent Ministries for Science and Technology and funded by the Office of Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA) in consultation with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), GoI, with the aim of contributing to 'ease of research' in the country and boost 'Make in India' in the country by "linking researchers to resources" at right time and nearest to them.
Researchers are an important asset to a nation and their valuable time should be for constructive research work. The national portal aims to reduce the "lead time" in searching the facility, taking approval, getting right bills etc. to 5-6 minutes which usually can take 6-7 valuable months of national researchers.

How to Update Usage Charges for an Equipment on I-STEM Portal
After Step 3 Please click on "Assign Usage Rate" and Submit. In case you would like to add multiple modes, please click on "Add Row" at the top right of the Assign Usage Rate Section.

Sir after downloading the comsol software , when i tried to run the application it shows that license server machine is down and sometimes it shows licence file is missing
Please make sure you are using the correct hostname/ System name as you mentioned on comsol request page and also make sure you are not using any proxy server. If you are using a proxy server then please consult your network administrator regarding the same and request them to allow our License server IP address and port number through firewall/proxy. Once your network restriction is removed, you will be able to install COMSOL and use the software without any issue.
