I wish Catholic Churches would restore the Gregorian chant to Sunday masses across the world. It would be healing. So much of the singing and hymns in church is completely lacking in inspiration. The pentacostal movement and Hillsong has gone the other way and it’s a rock concert, or a pop concert and I don’t feel that’s appropriate either. It’s not sacred music. There must be a way to restore sacred music to the Christian mass. I think it’s time all the Christian churches United and stopped all this fragmentation and sectarianism. I also think the Anglican Church is a ridiculous construction, a fake church that was born out of an evil, licentious and sinful King who just wanted to do as he pleased, marry and divorce and execute all his wives. It’s horrid how a church could be founded under one ruler’s sins and transgressions. The Anglican Church should be absolved and restored to a United Christian Catholic mass, and all those pentacostal, Baptist, Presbyterian, Uniting church and all the rest of these splintered groups should be dissolved, reformed and reunited under one church of Christ. We should have one, Holy, Catholic (in a new refreshed but still sacred sense) and apostolic church. There is too much fragmentation in this world. Bring back Gregorian chant, bring back holy worship via sacred music, reflection and Christian meditation based on the work of the ancient mystics like Teihard de Chardin and Hildegard of Bingen.

There is more to this than the healing properties. After spending about ten minutes listening to this during my break at work the other day, I returned to work pretty relaxed. In the two hours I had left for the day, three random people told me to have a blessed day. Before that, it was rare ever to hear this. The next morning, someone walked by me and said good morning, then as she walked away, she said, "Have a good day," and I believe after that, she said something to the effect of "God willing." Listening to this is a way of relaxing and healing your soul so that others can see and feel it within you and feel the need to communicate it to you somehow. It may not be just this particular music, but more the closeness to Jesus and the relaxation of your soul. I will now listen to this each day, even if just for a few minutes, to keep my mind focused on Christ and my soul relaxed and healthy.
