Hopefully by now you recognize my nickname here, but I certainly always look forward to your videos, because they are just perfect to do some crafts while listening :) I have just started knitting recently and have just finished by second sweater, a lovely purple raglan. -27 degrees is certainly incredibly cold, Sweden this year is very warm, rarely gets below 0 degrees, unfortunately. The grey mittens you have made are just so perfect!! I have seen that pattern on a shawl, and with ombre yarn in between the cables, looked so interesting, but I thought it was a bit too much for me - the mittens seem like a nice alternative for me haha What are your favourite knitting needles and crochet hooks and other notions for crafting? Maybe you could include these in a next video, I would love to see and hear your opinions! Have a nice day!!

Hello Lori! Good to see your video! It's been a while since I have seen your youtube channel- a lot happened, moved to Sweden, picked up knitting last month, now on my first sweater! definitely will still crochet some hats this christmas season, just cannot decide on the yarn to use haha!

Hi Lori. All those Advent yarn colours are gorgeous today! And the scarf in the v-stitch is going to have such nice drape. Especially like seeing what you got from Cambridge Fibres, cause we are "advent twins" for that one lol.

I am going to catch up on this first week of your Advents today. (Your grandkids are very fortunate. I also lived, for quite some time, with my Grandma and she sometimes called me her 5th daughter. She was a very positive influence in my life, as I am sure you are in your grandchildren's lives.)

So unfortunate the market did not go too well, but I definitely think you should try again on a more craft centred one because your stuff is beautiful and so useful- also loved the pickles so much hahah You seem to be getting some time outside and I am so so jealous, the Netherlands is still rainy and cold :( But that meant since i finished my degree I had a lot of time to crochet! I tried to de-stash my yarn a bit and am now finishing a scrap sweater! your clematis is beautiful! Also went to visit home, and our garden is infested with slugs! all of our zucchinis and lettuce have been nibbled on which is quite unfortunate- do you have a way to keep them away from your veggies? we cannot put poison because of our dog so my mom has just picking them out at night but its not very efficient:/ enjoy the nice weather! :)

Good morning Lori! Last few days here in the Netherlands have been very hot, having to work on my thesis was absolute struggle with the rays of sunshine popping through the library windows. Now it is back to grey and rainy skies, but hopefully we will see some sun soon! Recently, I have been inspired by your videos to join in on some "crochet challenges" as I have a lot of yarn leftover after couple of projects. I am really enjoying just making some squares, seeing what colors i feel like today. But Lori!! Those mittens?? Absolutely adorable, I love them! Don't have the motivation to pick up winter projects now, but maybe later in the year. Also, so glad Charlie came back. The other day, my neighbours cat came inside my room, which is not unusual, but he seemed more in his "hunting mode" than usual and to my surprise, couple of minutes later, I saw him with two mice that he caught! Now whenever he comes to visit I am expecting more of them but so far so good! Have a great day!!

Hello Lori! I would be more than happy to swap out the temps with you! Us yarn lovers in Alabama are already experiencing the rising temps. It has been getting to 85F and higher! Not the best weather for wearing hand knits. :) Love all your makes!

I hope one day to have a yarn stash like you. I’m one of those gets-inspired-by-the-sight-of-yarn types. I’m kind of a newbie to crocheting (I’m on my 3rd project and redoing my first), but I have yet to do a granny square. 😂 Everyone says everyone usually starts with that, but I just… didn’t. I kind of just hopped on whichever thing was the most interesting at the time, without a rhyme or reason. 😅 I do hope to make some soon, after my next few spring and summer projects. I’m gonna need some fall and winter blankets, hehe. I like to see what everyone else is doing with their current WIPs on YT, tho, even if it’s very different from mine. 😊 Thanks for sharing!

Another great video :) Hopefully you are feeling better after the appointment. The colorful squares for the blanket are SO BEAUTIFUL! An unexpected color combo but I love it. The other day I visited home and also did some seed planting with my mom - we found hokkaido pumpkin seeds so did some of those and also already got to collect some rhubarb from the garden.

That is really a lot of yarn! 😄Can't wait to see he blankets finished and what you make from the new yarns! Loved Charlie's little appearance but he did not seem to be in the video mood haha 😁 All the best for you! Love watching your videos while I crochet :)

Just found your channel with this video and I loved watching it while crocheting - your pace is perfect to follow freely and your voice is really calming. I am a student from Poland, bored out of my mind finishing up a degree in Maastricht, Netherlands and the weather here is perfect for staying home and crocheting.
