Damn, watched some video essays and had this song stuck in my head so I wanted to see this scene again but I didn’t think it would make me cry again! The endings of each of these characters is so beautiful; Mantis going off to find herself instead of basing her needs off of other’s needs, Drax rediscovering his true calling as a father, Rocket finding a new and beautiful purpose, Quill confronting his past, Nebula finding joy and camaraderie, Gamora finding her own family (even if it’s not the one Quill wanted) and while Groot didn’t have as noticeable of a journey as the rest of them, he still enjoys a dance with his adoptive dad and has brought comfort and joy to so many in Knowhere

it is a fucking dreamworks dance party ending man. why is it also the most emotional shit ever and gets me to tears everytime man.

I’m surely going to miss the Guardians of the Galaxy, what a time to be alive to see this shine and even though we might not get another one! I’m so thankful we did get 3, thanks so much for the laughs but most of all thanks for the cries I need them! I am Groot!!!

That smile from Gamora is so genuine, I really like that part. It's like the director told the cast 'you know what, just have fun, idk how you do it just party hard". Its like an actual party for the cast as well as an ending for the trilogy

This is one of the most beautiful, touching, emotional, heart meltingly, and happiest endings in any Marvel movie. Man, the Guardians were something else. I don’t know when are they gonna come back and be the same, old band of misfits but I’m just happy to know that a Guardians team is out there protecting the galaxy as a family. I’m gonna miss the Guardians and Gunn.

I wish Peter visited his grandpa before leaving Earth at the end of Endgame.

Rewatched last night. Kind of amazing that this trope of ending a movie on a dance scene throughout like ... I don't know the 2000s or so could be turned into something somber and beautiful. Not that I ever minded a concept like that much, but for some reason this ending was so impactful and fitting. I think Guardians was really defined by its music choices at the end of the day.

I swear to god every time I watch this ending I cry. I love this movie so much.
