As soon as you move the timeline during the replay the doors evaporate. My hope is that putting a spotlight on this issue may help get it fixed.

The amount of time it takes the AI to detect and identify a threat, choose a course of action, aim and fire is far too short.
Agreed. I admit we’re not running a cqb clinic but if you minimize your exposure and use the element of surprise it should buy you a half a second to a second and a half. What’s super frustrating is modders have been able to pull the behavior back- I have no idea why the devs are happy leaving it the way it is. It’s obnoxious.
Hello to all fans of U-Boat. This video came together around Remembrance Day and it felt like a great time to be respectful of the ultimate sacrifice made by so many on both sides of the Second World War. The game provided an incredible opportunity to capture some thrilling moments and I can't say enough good things about the amazing music of Triple Colossal X Music. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to check out my videos- always appreciate the comments since feedback helps me do a little better each time.
You set yourself up for failure. Standing directly in front of a fatal funnel while also not taking the first shot, even if it wasnt a kill shot. And the enemy saw you first the second the door opened.
@@TheLocalSlavic how was crouching behind a wall to the far right of a door opening predominantly behind concealment “setting ourselves up for failure?” Give me a break.
@@FromGamingwithLove0456 While I agree the AI had lightning-fast reflexes, this could've been avoided by simply letting the frag do its job. Moral of the story: Dont stand in front of a fatal funnel. (Or bring a shield)
@@TheLocalSlavic our definitions of “standing in the middle” are clearly different given that not only was I not standing I was not in the middle of anything. I will concede that I could have just hidden behind the wall and let the stunner do its work before I exposed a pixel of skin- but then that would be the entire game since the ai is all coked out, hyper alert unit operators.
@@FromGamingwithLove0456 and that is the entire game. Breach, clear, stay alive, repeat. Next time just dont expose yourself until you're completely sure you have an advantage over the enemy (AI stunned from grenade)
@@TheLocalSlavic He's not even standing in the middle of the doorway, and the AI is, but hey, let's double down and say he's wrong anyway, you know? Not sure what you're even arguing, the AI snap aim is well known to be unrealistically accurate and fast even while running. It's not an opinion, it's fact. Do you even own a copy of Ready or Not? I don't think you do. Why are you here? Do some research on how deliberate clearing works and re-evaluate your comments. Or better yet, delete them, because the only training value they have is in when not to speak.

Ever since the DLC dropped, my replays are bugged to the point where even if I’m wearing directly at a suspect, you hear no gunshots, doors don’t render, and body’s don’t fall, they just drop guns and stand there after they’ve been shot, incredibly frustrating for someone who wants to make cinematic content, hope they pay more attention to this. Thanks for the video.
I haven't done a lot of work on the replays since the DLC since my first few experiences were glitchy enough that I lost my patience with it. Doors weren't rendering- particularly after I tried either scrolling ahead or time acceleration. Another guy posted very similar problems in response to this video- sadly I haven't gotten my head dug into it for a bit yet so I can offer no solutions. The only thing I can say is make sure you rewind back (remembering doors may not render) to a point where the AI can update it's position- if you don't they will assume those positions... especially if they were killed "off screen." Then as soon as you look at them they'll go "holy" on you.

Eh man welcome aboard! From my experience it seems that replays for the games that I host from my computer work fine- but the ones where one of the other guys in our group hosts are more "glitchy."
@@FromGamingwithLove0456 Makes sense, man. I tried what one of your subscribers suggested yesterday: I opened a server for friends and didn't invite anyone. The replay actually works (shots, bombs, voices), but the doors that were blown up disappear if you manipulate the timeline.

Hey so my issue is, my footage isn’t getting barely any audio either. The gunshots aren’t able to be heard, doors opening, etc. Only thing I am able to hear is footsteps. And it seems no matter how hard I try to look in the area where things are being done pause and rewind things still don’t get rendered or ends up worse. Sometimes it just completely takes away doors.
I can't help with the audio issues since that's a new one I haven't encountered. In terms of rendering if you freeze a scene and look around anything not on screen when you froze the scene may be out of sync... so you need to advance like 1 frame (I just slow everything down as much as necessary and click play / pause as quick as I can and it lines everything back up again. The doors are a new problem I've seen since the update. I'm not sure if it's specific to whether I'm serving or not, or if there's some other common denominator. I thought it was just the new maps but I have doors in some now and not in others... not sure what that is either. Haven't been doing a lot of cinematic work lately so I'm a bit behind on learning the new issues.

Heya! Dont know if you fixed this already but somehow replay works fine in multiplayer mode. Experiment with yours to see if it works the same. Specifically I played a "Friends Only" but it may work with other gamemodes.

Damn it's crazy how much more work we have to do now just to watch a simple replay lol a 5 minute replay now becomes 20 minutes of trying to get it to be as smooth as possible
@@sktrpozer9765 this isn’t really a “watch the replay” video. It’s more for if you’re trying to create content with it. Watching the replay is simple. Now they actually have it so it maintains your preference for recording replays- enabled or disabled. Just double click the replay you want and just follow your dude around. If they’re on your server in mp then most functionality works. I have noticed doors don’t render in by the looks of it at least in some cases since the update. You should have a straightforward time but if you watch some of my other RoN videos you’ll see a lot of this is intended to help folks looking for unique angles and setups.
@@FromGamingwithLove0456 😭Yeah I meant for trying to create content with it. The only thing I’m really having trouble with is the shootings. The NPC’s will just drop their weapons but will still be in the standing animation holding a ghost gun
If I understand the issue- just remember things do get glitchy if you pause and then look over at things that weren’t visible where you were looking before. Gear will be offset, dead npcs will be in the cross formation… and possibly what you’re talking about too. You can fix gear issues on your guys by just nudging forward one frame- the rest you need to rewind and rewatch so you can see them in focus. Unsure if understood your issue - but almost every major problem I have relates to that.
