I can really relate to this and my grandparents home. I always thought we would keep it and just be a second like place. Things worked out differently, but we were able to purchase our home. I just look around and feel, see my grandparents everywhere here. Sorry for the book it just really hit home seeing this.

DILLY TUNA SALAD 20 oz Wild Planet Albacore Tuna 4 celery ribs, diced 1/4 cup red onion, diced 1/3 cup dill pickles, diced 1/3 cup mayo 1 tbsp dijon mustard 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp hot sauce Salt & pepper to taste Mix it all together and enjoy! 🥺 So many emotions. We are in the “sandwich generation” phase of our lives. Where our young adult kids still need us, and now our aging parents do too. We’ve had to make some difficult decisions recently. And one of them meant it was time to get one of my husband’s childhood homes ready to sell. 🏡 In the thick of things, it was easy to focus on the massive To Do list: • sorting through belongings • getting his stepmom settled into memory care • painting and repairs • cleaning But then it was time for the walk-through with the realtor. In a sterile house that had once been a home filled with so much love. ♥️ I wasn’t prepared for the tears. We’ve learned a lot through this process and I’ll be sharing that with you soon.
