Excellent, we were just talking about this on our series web forum I posted a picture of my roof asking if it could be a boat! And there was my name sake in said boat!

Exactly as Andrew says, a rope with a float saves the boat. Handled fine with one person on it 👍.. I also have a series roof kicking about, in fact lots of people here in UK who have old LRs have a roof lurking somewhere, you can't give them away.

Is it me or doesn't there appear to be tons of room to the side of that rock? There are enough obstacles on these trails without having to find them (IMHO). With that said - go Rover's!

Very nice Disco, nice paint scheme... so, as the description says, that noise was caused by the ring and pinion, right? I've owned 4 LR's and never broken so if one day happens I want to recognize that sound... :P

Funny you should ask. There was an H1 behind our group. He had as much trouble as us. I think he ended up pulling cable at some point. We left.

YUea, my heart pretty much sank. I had to pull axle shafts, drop drive shaft and drive out in front wheel drive. Also 375 miles home.
