That's what I mostly did with my mage char. Just place summoning signs around difficult bosses and sip coffe like "who called the exterminator"... Now I'm running a fresh samurai char and I'm like "dude wtf" you died screen lol
I think this can be taken as rude as maybe if you wanna summon is not for an OP help directly, but to see an epic combat… so If a person has one of this moves I think they should restrain of using it in a Boss as people maybe doing the game for the first time, it happen to me when I was on the lake of rot and wanted to fight the dragon kin with people to see a show... but it ended like in 5 seconds and felt very off. Pure wholesome awareness.
Summon a magic user, expect bodies to hit the floor. May be the user themselves, may be the enemy, its like a coin flip with their often fragile vigor levels, but a glass cannon is indeed a CANNON nontheless.
I enjoy being summoned in for bosses but would never do this. I just come in with a claymore or curved greatsword. That way I"m only soloing if the guy literally stands in the corner doing nothing. Sure host can die but I'm there to help not to do it for them unless they actively force that to happen by not attacking.
