Princess, similar to DS1, was an illusion, but in this case more elaborate and sinister. Filianore was given to Pygmies as a gift and sort of hostage, by her father Gwyn. All of that to keep them penned up in Ringed City at the edge of the world, and to prevent coming of Dark Lord and awakening of Humanity. Gwyn promised to Princess he will get back for her one day, but that promise was never fulfilled. Eventually, Filianore died and Church hid that fact with a Vagrant egg (Vagrants being able to travel Dark Souls universe, thus twisting space and time) . Princess appeared to sleep and with her whole Ringed City has been frozen at the end of the world (both in space and in time) . However, illusion of Vagrant Egg was slowly decaying, and Ashen One finally broke it.

Bro you beat Midir so much more easily than I did on my first run, you've just beaten the boss that for me is the hardest of all the dark souls games, congrats Also I think that this is kind of a goodbye gift from patches, if you noticed he doesn't push you into a trap, in fact if you would have done this before going further in the dlc, technically patches "pushes you" into the right direction, he just helps you in his own distasteful way.

think we went through the entire Baya soundboard in the Midir fight lol. nicely done though. how many attempts do you think it took you in total? halflight is kind of an online boss as a player takes their place if you're connected. can make it either incredibly hard or incredibly easy depending on who you get 🙃 i have high hopes for the next video 😁

Kind of disappointing that Midir has only two phases and one healthbar, right? A little underwhelming. I don't get it, why do you hate Patches so much.. he is such a sweetheart... A perfect candidate to be your next husband!

The thing with the Ringed Knight Paired Greatswords is to do combos with L1!!!!! TRY IT!!!!! 12:00 You can summon Lapp. His sign is behind one of the doors, but I believe you have to finish his questline first. If you are online, you can fight another player instead of Halflight. Don't hate Patches. He is a great guy! Go back to where Patches was (where he kicks you) and get his armor. 0:56 - you have to hit the wall right of the doorway. There is more than 1 illusory wall there. 1:03:55 - See that door? Go back to the swamp area, go up the ladder where the locust preacher is and drop to your right. There will be a strong enemy there and some things to get.

We've all been waiting for you to experience this plot twist lol Our best friend Patches, so powerful he lived to the end of the world! Good job on Midir, he's arguably the best(or second best after the boss from the different game) dragon boss in all of Soulsborne Now it's time for the finale!

I'm still at the beginning of the video so I don't know if you figured it out but you had enough slabs, just not enough souls to upgrade those swords. 8:14

In the area at the beginning where you kept running down the steps from the bonfire and getting overwhelmed by all the enemies, you missed a summon sign for Hawkwood the Deserter who would have helped you greatly in that fight. He'll even follow you up the ladder to fight Havel, although you already killed him last episode. I'm in a NG+ right now getting ready to fight Nameless King again. I struggled for about a week with him first time through.

There's a mod people are working on that seems like it's very close to complete of bloodborne on PC. You will absolutely love that game.

33:37 I think the champion of Ash they are talking about is actually you in that dragonslayer bossfight because it says it was in lothric. So... the lapp questline is almost impossible to figure out on your own so I'm gonna straight up tell you (is not even considered a spoiler tbh) that area at 42:30 has something between those statues you can interact with but you need to first use the white branches they gave you while you are in the lake to transform into something that will help you interact with that section in order to continue the questline. You may want to backtrack a little from where you left off so you dont miss the final part of Lapp's quest. 48:44 some call it cheating, others strategy, who knows... 🤷‍♂️

Wow! I thought for sure that as an invader the Moaning Knight would be immune to Midir's fire, I can't believe it killed him. That's so hilarious. Baya, I love the way you try to explore and find everything. I've seen other playthroughs of people who freaked out at how difficult this DLC is and basically skipped most of it and ran straight to the bosses. However, there is stuff in this DLC that I personally would never have found in a million years without watching videos. I won't tell you exactly what they are, but if you want to find the monument that Lapp is looking for you will absolutely never find it on your own, and it's worth it, and if you want to face the dragon's boss battle you'd have to be pretty lucky to find it the entrance to it. Just in case you don't want to miss some key stuff.

Ringed City should be considered as the end of the world, both physically (location) and end of time(s). This is the place where Gwyn placed Dark Soul and humanity, in order to preserve the Fire. This is the place where eventually everything ends, both ages of Fire and ages of Dark, to melt down into Deep and Abyss. And this is the place where pigment for the picture of Painter-girl must be found, so she could paint a new world : a cold, dark, and very gentle place.

One poor girl went to the swamp, to hear words of wisdom, spoken by swamp creatures. She didn't understand those words and the creatures ate her face. Fear not the dark, my friend. And let the feast begin.

13:33 - drop there! You'll have a surprise. There is also a nice ring on that direction. 16:36 - finding the monument on your own is freaking difficult. You can read about it if you want to continue his questline. 25:32 - there is a reason and it's linked to Lapp's questline. 34:42 - sometimes all you have to do is run past everything, right?! 42:30 - the entrance to the monument is in that room, but it is so hard to know what to do to get there. I think it would be interesting if you found the monument before moving forward. 49:52 - there is something that would happen there if you follow Lapp's questline. 54:45 - you can fight the dragon there. Remeber that dragons are weak to lightning. 55:26 - there is a illusory wall in that room. 56:13 - those are the best weapons in the game!!!!!
