Hi guys, the demo runs fine on my android device, but touchosc always crashes while importing the full version nc editor tosc file. Any ideas how to fix this?
Hi, NC Editor is a rather large tosc file, maybe it's just a tad too much for the device. Please contact Hexler at hexler.net/contact there is a debug option in touchOSC and the guys at Hexler can usually quickly identify what the problem is. Also, please contact me via the email in the channel info or here payhip.com/deepsounds/contact so we can see if I can provide a stripped down version.

Ja, das Prinzip ist das gleiche. Welches USB Dock geeignet ist und ob externe Stromversorgung (Tracks) oder ein Audio out benötigt wird... das hängt dann sicher auch vom jeweiligen Modell ab.

Not yet, but I'm planning to build something like NC Companion for the Rhythm as well.
i'm just amazed that Novation has dropped the ball so badly on all this, that interested citizens such as yourself have had to create this great ecosystem! Great job on making all the things that have been needed since the beginning for the Circuits, and a confused shrug for Novation on why they haven't done all this already 🤷♂️🙏🎶🌌

Folks, I lost 2 steps when cutting the video 😅 1. 4:51 To actually run the app press the little play button on the top 2. 6:34 You also need the correct midi CC settings on the controller . Found a small issue today: My Circuit Tracks does not start with battery when both widi dongles (in and out) are plugged in. If only the out is connected, it works. That's ok for me because I usually only use the midi output of the tracks. But of course it's annoying, especially since I recommended it for a portable application
Moin, kann man mit dieser Konfiguration auch die Drums und alles andere vom circuit in beispielsweise GarageBand einspielen und aufnehmen? Frage, weil ich in einigen Videos auch gesehen habe, dass noch ein Audio Interface benötigt wird.
In dieser Konfiguration ist nur das Abhören des iPads möglich. Zum Aufnehmen braucht man tatsächlich ein zusätzliches Audiointerface - Vielleicht mache ich dazu mal ein separates Video.

Why wont a usb c to usb a worth (ipad usb c + circuit tracks), why does it need a hub? Or is the hub just for the 3.5mm?
Yes, basically it would work with a usb-c to usb-c cable. But as you say, you won't have audio output for the iPad then (and bluetooth lags a lot). To be able to add an external power supply is also a very useful option (as the iPad battery powers both devices in this setup)
Guys get a bluetooth MIDI adapter 👍 Lightning ports are a pain in the ass.
Can you recommend one ? Its so sad that apple dont have in mind the needs of music producers.
What usb hub is that?
It's an Anker 565. It's good quality, but probably a bit too big for this use case alone (I also use it on a Macbook AIr). As a minimum, i would recommend 2 USB ports and an audio output.
Loving these sounds. Can't wait until my tracks and rhythm show up next week! Gonna have to get this pack sometime!
Where to download the editor? Is it available on iOS? Can't find this on app store.
Yes, it runs on iOS devices, but it's not a native app in the App Store (Apple's store policies require manufacturer approval for third-party apps, which Novation unfortunately doesn't give). Instead, you run touchOSC on the device (an app for creating control surfaces), then load the editor file (which you get with the soundpack) and run it. It's very simple and feels like a native app. TouchOSC is available for free for desktops (Windows, macOS, Linux) and there are paid apps for IOS and Android.

Thanks! The app I used is one of my own circuit apps called „NC Companion“ payhip.com/b/AULM0. Besides seeing what the macros do you can manipulate any parameter in realtime, edit effects, take parameter snapshots and a lot more.

It's actually the arppegiator of the Launchkey mk3 (which is really superb).
