I literally cook mine the same exact way! Boiling your smoked meat with onion & seasonings gives greens do much flavor! If you don’t have better than bouillon , gone put you some Knorr chicken bouillon powder . Best greens ever! I also use a couple packs of Lipton onion soup mix . Nothing but flavor!

Please post the meat you put in and the recipe 🙏 I would greatly appreciate it!
I can’t really give you exact measurements because this was my first time making them but I eyeballed just about everything & just seasoned it til I thought it was enough seasoning it really just depends on how many greens you plan on cooking. Now as far as the meat I used smoked turkey legs you can get those from just about any grocery store I hope this helps.
Girl, WTF is that steak knife you’re cutting with? Get a proper sized chef knife and cutting veggies will be much easier
