Considering a credential? Not sure which one? Wondering what you should major in as an undergrad? This workshop is for you. We will offer a brief overview of pathways to credentials, types of credentials and updates about requirements on the way to transferring to a public BA and/or credential program followed by brief presentations by multiple credential programs in the Bay Region.

Discovering Paths to Teaching: Where to start, how to continue, apprenticeships, transferring and credential programs

After this presentation, students will:
• Identify the degrees and majors needed to pursue a teaching credential
• Describe multiple types of teaching credentials
• Be familiar with multiple transfer institutions and options in the Bay region

    Why are you trying to recruit teachers when enrollment is down, and a lot of schools are losing their teachers (leading to a lot of internal transfers)? Dumbest city by far lol.

    Very informative and a great opportunity for potential teachers. Curious to know what happens to CSET ? Do we need a CSET for the UPK credentials?
