How about Hybrid Tea Roses? I have been growing Tea Roses in Manitoba, zone 2a, without any problems; however, they must be properly winterized or they will freeze & die over winter. This year, I am trying to grow "own-root" Tea Roses via soft wood cuttings to determine if they will grow in the Prairies with less care.
Excellent information, I never thought I could plant in the fall and have them continue growing in the spring in winter 😲, I will apply it in my house in Mexico where winter is also cold ❄️☃️
Great points to remember to have healthy trees and shrubs
The amount of HDPE that is going into this project is phenomenal, along with all of the other items. I sure can't wait to see the outcome when it is all completed.
I hate brown sod, good to know it will green up. But what if it doesn't?
Hi @Toakaha11, thanks for your comment. If your grass doesn't come back, it's usually because there was something that happened to it in the fall. Grass is very hardy, and even if there is patches of animal damage or fertilizer/chemical damage, the likelihood of the whole lawn staying brown is low. Some grass varieties just take longer than others to come in.
It is good to know about the process of planting trees. It would be good to see a video on how to plant step by step. It is interesting. greetings ♧ LawMexa

@angellee9307 Delightful indeed! Thanks for commenting!
Well I thought that potato are not suppose to be harvest before it's leaves are dry flat on the ground, is it not ?
Hi @suyantidjemiran2216, thanks for your comment! Potatos are ready for harvest from late July to mid September. You may want to dig the potatoes all at once or take from the ground as you need them! Potato plants naturally mature when the leaves start to ripen and turn yellow. You can also remove the vine when the plant is ripe and leave the potatoes undisturbed in the soil for a few days. This helps the potatoes skin set and harden.
I thought he was Walter white for a sec
😂
This week in Montréal, 1.77$ canadian for 10 lbs of potatoes. That is $0.13$ US per pound. I have a small garden; I won't grow such a cheap crop.
He said August.
Can this tree grow in Tucson, AZ?
The best bet is to go with a pine. Spruce like cool temperatures and humidity; they'll grow in full sun to part shade, in well-draining, rocky soils. Tucson gets a little too warm for optimal growing conditions.
My plant died almost immediately after bringing it home from the garden store I wouldn't call it easy care at all
Oh noooooo! Did you notice if the leaves changed colour, maybe yellow before it died? Sometimes we can diagnose what happened!
@@ClassicGardens Yes some turned yellow and fell. Now I just have the stump. I keep watering it just hoping it might come back.
@@EarthBound_Spirit Yike, a stump might be telling you that its long gone😞Well, if a green thumb isn't your thing, may we suggest an even easier plant to take care of? Try a snake plant! Those are nearly bullet proof!
@@ClassicGardens I have managed to have problems with the snake plant too. Although, the one I had was a long time ago before I got a little better with my plants.
"This time of year?" Sixty seconds of no information, no name of the variety, no age of tree, no information on where in the world this tree is... Word of advice: THINK about what it is you are trying to make an informational video about... AND THEN, only then, turn on the camera and start recording. This video was literally a waste of electricity and bandwidth.
Hi @Chunderbluck, Perry mentions in the video that, "once we get to the middle of August we want to consider pruning spruce trees". This is true for all spruce trees (and also pine). Classic is located in Edmonton Alberta, we have that information on our profile. Happy pruning everyone!
Hello....."This time of year" means nothing when you don't know what time of the year that is.....!?
Video was uploaded August 2022. I think they mention August in the video as well.
@@PRCDoug I guess I missed it in the video...though I was listening for it. Date uploaded doesn't mean much either since these things can be uploaded anytime after production....even years after....
Hi @gerry6265, Perry mentions in the video that, "once we get to the middle of August we want to consider pruning spruce trees".
"Why is my new sod brown?" There could be multiple reasons and you only addressed 1!!! Also, "...this time of year..." but how the hell do we know when this video was shot?
Hi gideonstibor2519, Perry mentions early in the season, for us in Edmonton Alberta this usually means April 🙂 Although different grow zones may differ, "early" will be across the board in terms of when this will apply to your zone.
Hello can u check your comments on the rubarb vid?
Mine are super small I water them every day 19:30 for four weeks is there any way to increase the growth of them?
Hi there! Thanks for your question. First we need to check if the rhubarb is in the best location. Choosing a sunny spot will help with faster growth, and the soil should be ideally at a pH of 6.
Thanks I was going crazy
Bro I’m going crazy now……It’s all slowly turning brown even after watering it like crazy……it’s only been 7 days
Me too!!! Only patches of mine is going brown im panicking! I don’t know if I should keep watering or what?
@@angieb19 okay so mine did start to green up very nice. Yesterday I did my first cut and to my surprise it looks magnificent…..I can say now I was just being paranoid. Keep up with the waterings. If no rain then water 3 times a day for 3 weeks. I watered each section for about 15 minutes……….After 3 weeks just once a day.
How much water for a new money tree ? And water once a week?
You can water once every one to two weeks, when the soil is 50 to 75% dry. Be sure that your planter has drainage holes, so the roots aren't sitting in excess water!
no nut november :( (I liked my own comment)
Hi sir
Hi! How can we help you?
@@ClassicGardens nothing sir thank you so much.. Any job there

Sad to see another plant life distroyed in the name of progress
For some reason I have a soft spot for the sad looking plants, that need some extra tlc. Although I also don't want to pay full price for them lol! But I do want to bring them home and nurse them back to life.🌱💦 ☀️🌿
Great job!!💕 It's so wonderful!🌷 すごいです!😄🌟
