I call it Industrial music; meant for the masses in sell-out capacity. In the meantime, 'don't come around me, oh Lord, don't come around me'. J'appelle ça de la musique industrielle ; destiné aux masses dans une capacité à guichets fermés. En attendant, « ne me contourne pas, oh Seigneur, ne me contourne pas ».
Oh lord (oh lord)... Oh boy I thought I told you Well I told you but I thought you know There ain't no heaven Oh lord, there ain't no heaven There ain't no heaven On the county road Don't talk about it Boy oh boy, don't talk about it Don't talk about it If you do, I'll cry Don't come around me Oh lord, don't come around me Don't come around me If you do, I'll die Oh lord, there ain't no heaven Oh lord, there ain't no heaven Down at the station stood my dear old mother She keep on, keep on screamin' and cryin' "Oh lord I wonder what my son has done" Oh lord, there ain't no heaven Oh lord, there ain't no heaven Oh lord Did you bring me, bring me any silver He didn't bring me, bring me any gold Oh did you see me, workin' on South Carolina Just to see me work on the county road Oh lord (oh lord), there ain't no heaven Oh lord (oh lord), there ain't no heaven (Oh lord, oh lord) There ain't no heaven (there ain't no heaven) (Oh lord, there ain't no heaven) Oh lord (oh lord), there ain't no heaven
I have a dilemma... for months this has been in the No.1 slot of what I call my "Video Vault", ie. my personal playlist of the music videos I like here on TH-cam. There's almost 250 videos in the list (at the time of writing this) and I almost always put it on Shuffle play, but every playthrough has to start somewhere and it's convenient to just hit Play All first. Thing is, I just recently 'discovered' the Marie Christine Depestre - D.J. Champion & les G-Strings (La meillure version) video and now I'm torn, I just cannot decide which version I like best. Don't suppose it's possible to set playlists up so that the No.1 slot is configured on an either/or basis?...
@@BlGOLAF I would disagree. There are quite a few bands out there that sound excellent live. Quite a few classic rock bands come to mind, but more recently bands like the Black Keys or singers like Chris Isaak maintain the same level of quality even live. I feel like those effects become a crutch, and this singer is certainly benefitting from it. This is like watching Lorde perform live. I'm not hating on her as I quite like the studio version of the song, but I dont think I'll ever come to like this one.
I dint get it..... they are all bouncing around on the stage like this music is really upbeat and fast but it’s very slow and boring. I don’t think these guys would be good live. No offence
this song is how i learned about DJ Champion and Betty Bonifassi. probably watched that old video 1000 times :D
Taniss sing no heaven 😅

I can't help but turn the volume all the way up at 4:30 Such an awesome jam.
Still jamming with volume cranked, I might go deaf.
Saw them at the FJBF. They were incredible.
they still tour?
Wow
Wow, what a great live performance 👍🏻
❤️ the guitarist with the curly hair has ridiculously infectious energy I always thought. Would’ve loved to see them live

I prefer this version. th-cam.com/video/EwYZvVT6ckQ/w-d-xo.html
She doesnt sound very good live. Sorry =/
no one sounds as good live as they do in studio. They don't have access to aftereffects and editing, lol.

Are you the guy at 1:58?
To understand your perspective, I need to know your definition of exciting music.
