I have always been a fan of the late great Klaus Wunderlich. Never had the opportunity to see him play live nor on any video until now. Thanks for posting this. Inspirational. 🙏
I listened to Klaus for many hours as a child. He influenced my own performances a lot. He never over played anything and was a genius with his ability. Sadly missed but his music lives on 😀

Der liebenswerte Klaus Wunderlich würde staunen, wie seine Fans , heute seine Stücke auf den neuesten Keyboards spielen . Sie verehren ihn und machen uns die Freude, seine Musik nicht zu vergessen. Für mich ist das Rico Greetz aus den Niederlanden, er ist einer dieser Keyboarder . Durch seinen modernen Stil und Sound und außergewöhnlichem Können, ist er weltweit besonders auch mit Klaus seinem Repertoire bekannt. IJ aus Deutschland
Es gibt ja von Hage ein Midifile, welches nach der 1976er Klaus Wunderlich Version von Tico Tico gestaltet wurde, aber auch einige Abweichungen hat und als Claudia Hirschfeld Klaus Wunderlich ehren wollte, hat sie ihr Spiel mit einer Audiodatei begleiten lassen, welche auf eben diesen Midifile basierte, denn es gab ein paar kleine Abweichungen zum Original, die ich eben kannte, weil ich selbst dieses Midifile irgendwann mal mitgekauft habe (Pitchbend in der Pianostar Gitarre, hat KW nie gemacht). Und genau diese Art und Weise ist eben keine Ehre für Klaus Wunderlich, der hat zwar im Studio alle Möglichkeiten genutzt und alle möglichen Sachen mehrfach aufgenommen, aber auf der Bühne maximal Schlagzeug von der Begleitautomatik zugelassen und dazu mit beiden Händen gespielt, allerdings dabei dann auch das Wesentliche der Arrangements recht gut transportiert und das ist nicht gerade sehr leicht, selbst sogar wenn man das Arrangement selbst geschrieben hat. Ich würde auch sagen, bei Keyboards hat man ja kein Basspedal und man hat auch nicht unbedingt gelernt, dieses zu spielen und entsprechend ist es dann auch okay, dort dann eben die Begleitautomatik zu nutzen.

Was lucky enough to see Klaus in concert 3 times, have many albums and CD's but my most prized album was signed by Klaus at one of his concerts. I often wonder what Klaus would think of the new Wersi sonic range. RIP Klaus.

I am so pleased you have posted this video, I too recorded it on VHS but alas my recording is just about worn out. It may be old, but for me the Spectra is the Wersi to have, I have an Abacus.

The greatest ever!
He plays pretty simple and it's impressive. Something that encourages anyone, who learns playing organ. He is pretty relaxed, not so extremely hectic and busy as known from "the uncrowned king of Hammond"

I remember seeing Klaus live in Leicester twice and one of these occasions was on this very tour. He was and always will be the greatest organist ever. RIP Klaus
For me he is the master of organ like the german Beethoven and Bach in his part of music - ein für mich unbegreifliches Genie, weil göttliches Talent?!

Hi Neil thanks for the upload of klaus wunderlich video it is brilliant a missed brilliant musician Anyway I have a rare lp of klaus wunderlich called hit aulesse it was never realesed in the UK. Would you like a copy. I hope you upload some other videos of klaus on the spectra and helios at the pebble mill. Regards Maurice
