How does the enriched content like searching the transcript get published to audience outside of the production system? How are the automatically detected scenes and slides published?

These units almost have everything I want on a pro camcorder especially at the price point however the deal breaker for me is not having a 3.5 audio input jack and therefore no 4 track audio recording option which I’ve been using lately on solo shoots on both my Canon XA50 camcorder and my new Lumix S5II. I love recording this way, especially on solo run and gun shoots, as I can use an XLR shotgun mic (either on a boom or on camera) on tracks 1 and 2 and a wireless system, like the DJI Mic, on tracks 3 and 4 both with safety tracks set around 6db lower on the second track (2 and 4) and that gives me so much flexibility in terms of what sounds the best in different situations and peace of mind in terms of capturing good audio with plenty of back up and it’s working really well so I’d hate to have to go back to being limited to recording on 2 tracks only especially on what would be my main camcorder if I bought something like this. Of course if you don’t need or use 4 track audio then these seem like a great option for the price.

I wonder if experts of Panasonic Camcorder HC X2 can guide me on changing from the Chinese to English Language. Thanks

How do I get rid of the hissing sound? I unplugged all the mics and recorded with no sound and there is a bad hissing noise no matter what setting I try to eliminate it. Do I have a defective camera or am I missing something? Please help. Hc-x2

X20 focus problem anybody not respond 😡

IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU BUY - The liveu Pro (and now the regular solo as well) touts it can send SRT (which is faster, more secure and has less packet loss the RTMP) - but the solo unit does not actually send SRT. I talked with LiveU today and they said the SRT endoding does not happen in the unit. It happens via the LRT cloud bonding. If you don't use LRT you don't get SRT. This means that the unit itself is not sending the SRT. And the whole point of using SRT (at least for me) is to reduce bandwidth needs and packetloss. SRT encoding does not happen in the device so no bandwidth savings when you send the stream to the LRT cloud. Once the video hits the LRT cloud it gets converted to SRT and then sent where ever you direct it. So from the LRT cloud to your destination the bandwidth usage is optimized because of SRT. But that has no impact on your own bandwidth usage from the Solo unit to the LRT Cloud. So if anyone plans to use SRT to save bandwidth from the unit to the LRT cloud, it won't help at all. In the end, if you want to use SRT, you will need to PAY for the exspensive LRT.

One question, is the HDMI video output 4K from both cameras? or only Full HD

what is the difference of the HC-X2 and HC-X20 ?? does the 20 record on a lower bit rate or lack something in color depth or anything else than this HC-X2 that effect the image quality?... I am looking for a camcorder that is as close as possible to a cinematic look, like the Black Magic 4k colors but for continuous auto focus , built in ND filter and handle some light rain... is there such a camcorder that can be more of a cinema camera than a news gathering camera now in mid 2023? thanks for anyone that can take some time and advice me what cameras to look into, I also looked into the GH5S... but I like camcorders.. but open to hear others point of view... thanks!

The only thing missing, I think, is a physical cock on the mag that prevents it from falling off during shooting. Also the same lock for the cable. The cable needs to have a front and angle connection. And having a pouch for all mags to carry around will be very nice. Other than that it is an excellent product. I own 2 mags 2TB and 4TB and a transport.

Wow, that gets expensive quickly. I don't like the bulkiness of the Pro vs the non Pro version, actually, the more I look at it, I think it's more the form factor, I really like the Rectangle shape with little handles on ends (at least that is what it looks like). Ok, so you got better battery life, great, that means more weight and larger form factor, that SRT connector sticking out like that? I know the HDMI cable will also hang out of the side of the unit. I am surprised that the cable management hasn't improved much, a Y-Cable for the USB connections? Really?? OMG. Well, in all fairness, this is NEw Tech, and well, still early on in the evolution, but I am liking the way things are moving. Thanks for sharing.
