No, where we were, against the restaurant, it was full sun all day. There’s shade under the trees for those that want it 😃

Hi, to be honest, I'm not sure. I assumed that we had a courtyard view, but I can't be certain. Our friends had a room 'behind' us which looked out onto trees and grass (Garden View?). The view straight opposite us (and round the back, if you know what I mean) was of the neighboring hotel, The Riu Montego Bay. I would email the hotel just to be certain. BTW, it's a fantastic hotel and we are going back next January. Have a great trip!

I'm glad to hear it's a great resort... hope the drinks flow like water as i've read in some reviews. One more question, i've seen in some pics where they have liquor bottle dispensers in the suites, was this true for your room? How are the beaches?? We've read that some are a little dirtier than others in ochi or negril..

Dominique .Holder Hi again Dominique, Yes there are optics in all rooms with 4 bottles, whiskey, vodka, white rum and jamaican dark rum. There's sodas and water in the fridge. All the bars serve top shelf drinks. Skyy vodka, various flavours of absolute vodka. smirnoff, Ron Bacardi, Jim Beam, Chivas etc, etc. If you want top shelf drinks, make sure you ask for them as they'll give you locally produced if you don't (not a bad idea if you're drinking all day in the pool). We saw plenty miss the whole nightime after drinking top shelf in the pool! We love a beach hotel but never go on it. This beach is man made and not the greatest TBH (looks good, but is gritty underfoot). None of them in Montego Bay are much to write home about. The beach is cleaned every night and they remove the seaweed that gathers on the shore.

Dave Leathead I appreciate all of your information Dave 👌👍. This is our first all inclusive so I've prepared for the great amount of alcoholic libations to be consumed.. I'm still a little nervous lol. But yes, I've heard the beaches weren't that great, so maybe an excursion or 2 to Negril will suffice.

Hi, We were in room 845. The last room in the centre before the lifts. It was a great holiday in a great hotel.
