had one go out on a audi once, i got one at the junk yard back when they charged the same for the electric ones as the old school ones. the gears are too hard to find, and the new chinese ones are junk. you'll be better off getting a original one used on ebay or the junk yard.

How do you know if a 2002 Lincoln LSE 3.9 V8 has a transmission cooler or not? I need to order a new one and I am not sure if the car has it since there is an option with or without on a new rad.

Pretty sure you didn't need to completely remove the pump to change the filter. Hope the filter change fixed your issue.
