Tullian, I would like you to preach on holiness. I think you should preach on sin because it's healthy for the body. You are still in too much shame and guilt to do so. You should preach a sermon on sex sin and how it destroys. You are wrong here.
I find it so weird to watch these folk raised in Christian homes come to the same place us who weren't. Hitting Rock bottom can be good when you hit it and stay there, on the Rock. Pride is a monster.
Wonderful thank you.
We are to be obedient. We are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. The grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. Declare these things; exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you. I grew up spiritually in churches that did not preach holiness. They preached money, prosperity, spiritual gifts. I learned holiness after by God alone, how important it is to Him. Yes, God loves us no matter what, amen. But Grace calls us to live holy. To be obedient.
Unlimited grace, thank you Lord!
All Grace ❤
Tight leather pants on a Christian woman? What? Come on and love modesty. Come on! What message does tight leather pants send? "I'm sexy. Look at my body. Look at my curves. Look." It's wrong. God's grace is a beautiful message, but His grace calls and equips us to be obedient. Women should dress modestly. At least your shirt should be long and cover things.
Great word.
Damn, heavy hitting. 💪
Byron, Thank you for this word. I feel your story of life must be amazing, I may look it up at some point. Jesus grace toward us and love for us is what saves us, we are free, I needed this reminder. Father God’s blessing be upon you this day of our Lord December 30th, 2024
When we take our eyes off of Him, our meditation off him, our reliance off him, our hope off him, our trust off him, we fall but "a righteous man falls 7 times but gets back up"-the Bible
"Thy word is truth" but Satan tells us sooo many lies!
Whatever you put first in your life is your God.
Luke 7:47 "Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.". She understood the magnitude of the forgiveness she received. One encounter with Jesus and you will understand his love and grace. It’s an experience you testify with your life.
Byron I am glad for those in south Florida who can wholeheartedly sing “How beautiful are the feet of them who preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things.” Pray that God would spit another such preacher out of his mouth to land smack dab in the middle of Huntsville, Ontario. Lots of preachers here but not a single one who unabashedly preaches the unconditional, no strings attached forgiveness of sins on account of Christ alone. In the case of all of us modern day people this unalterable fact was accomplished for us long before any of us were conceived! Hah, we think a recent pardon issued by a President was a scandal! Oh baby , I cannot tell you how glad I am to be a beneficiary of a scandal that tops that one by a country mile! We are all so much better off than we could possibly imagine! I thank God for preachers like you and Tullian who remind us of the scandalous nature of our quintessential lover of our souls! Thank you.
As a fellow rescued heart, so grateful for not only Byron’s words, but to be part of the healing ❤️🩹 journey. Love from SC.
When my ex left me I fell on the living room floor and was crying one day. A Christian neighbor came by and scolded me. The contempt on her face was immense. I always thought that was God telling me to suck it up. I don't know now.
hanks for sharing! Just a quick off-topic question: how can i withdraw my 668 TRC20 USDT from wallet to binance please help me 12 wallet recovery phrase: 《pride pole obtain together second when future mask review nature potato bulb》
God always reminds me that I was created for friendship with Him first and foremost. Bible school taught me that I was created to have a big ministry and be somebody. I wish I had never gone, but ...
I have been saved decades and still sin in what people consider small ways: worry, cuss here and there, bad moods, mad at God, etc. Told this to some street preachers who maintain that they live sinlessly, to which I said well you must never have to apologize to your wives then. To which they said you should try harder and love God more because we don't sin. To which I said you lie. To which they let me know I was lesser than. To which I felt condemned and very hurt. To which I quit listening to them. Holiness, obedience all good and God's will. But we are humans and there is just no way we will arrive at a sinless point.
I think these parables are both for the lost and the found lost. Both.
Brother, when you preach the truth as you do, it is "real".
God bless you Russell Brand, if we are called by God then there’s nothing that we can not do through our Lord Jesus Christ. Trials and test will be part of our lives but how we respond to them is what God is waiting for. We need to know just Who is really living in us. When we know that we know is when the devil himself and his followers will not be able to mis led us or use us to destroy what God has created in us. Trust God Almighty because we can.
I am struggling with being a Christian. Not because of God. But because the Body of Christ is now one big vicious mob out to destroy one another. Take Joni Lamb, for example. Yes her network is a bunch of wolves. They need to repent of that, and I believe God is judging that. But on social media, they want to destroy her. They do not want to call to repentance and to restore. They also are attacking Pete for unproven allegations. It's all viciousness. Why do I want to ever go to church again after all this? I see the Body of Christ as a dangerous enemy worse than unbelievers, not as a family. I see pastors, even TT, as out for my money and worship, not out to serve me and make me a better Christian. I see humans as devils, all of them save a few. I live in fear of churches, because to me they are a bunch of devils. Please persecute me now for opening up my heart.
Why are you charging for your fallen free conference? Why not do it for free and love offerings? Or just trust God to provide? Why do you preach this wonderful sermon then treat people like this? Where is charging for the Word in the Bible? It's so sad to hear such a great sermon then realize you are just like all the rest. Charging folk instead of trusting God.
Preach!
Russel, stay far away from this guy. You need to have more discernment right now.
"He pursues people who run from Him in defiance, and He pursues people who run from Him in compliance." 100%!!! How is it that you're not writing songs? The Lord clearly wove word-smithing into your DNA.
They don't answer you because you are nothing but a view to them.
I heard from Ben Shapiro that the Jews believe that Jesus was just another common criminal during that time trying to free the jews from Roman persecution and crucified for doing so, CRUCIFIED meaning he was not the only one put on the cross, lol! if that were true, that would be very grounded and realistic, and I hope that would help some people snap out of the fantastical ideas they have about Christianity...... it obviously is not real.
At my very first addiction awareness event in 2018 when I was just learning about addiction and recovery I had a Pastor who was actually a West Virginia senator at the time.l speak about how we all really are a member of SA. You know how many churches allow people to use their basement for AA, NA, CA, etc. etc. meetings. Well, really we are all a part of SA a.k.a. Sinners Anonymous
Heb 6 please
Very good
Yes! There is so much freedom to be real in our relationship with God.
Thanks Stacie for helping me to understand that Christ wants us to be authentically free indeed.
Russell has such a talent for speech - I’m so glad he’s using his voice for Christ, what a powerful resource for God!
Awesome!!
Still listening! This is fire Pastor T!
Beautiful, thank you for this sermon
What is wrong with your breathing, Russell?
Thanks for making so clear the reality of our Christian lives as fallen people. It is what truly sets us free to receive the all sufficiency of God’s amazing grace.
Tullian is such a sweet man. God bless him. He really exemplified what it looks like to honor others. This was beautiful.
Russell PREACH! Love it so much. Thank you Jesus for saving this soul.
Many things touched me about this talk, not least of which was the way Russell fell to his knees to pray. We could all learn from this honesty and humility. God please continue to bless and keep him (and you all).
Both. It’s tax payer land operated by our council. The highest value slot of the year due to the ignorant masers feeling that it’s something special. In reality it’s an aggressive international so operator offering little margin too their touring operators, poor quality and little venue in general to the belfast customers. In addition it severely impacts revenue for local rate paying retail and hospitality businesses who have never had it so tough. Not to mention the needless travel of the operators and the fact that the company doesn’t pay corporation tax or vat to the ni economy. You can do a market/continental market/world market by curating a portfolio of local producers and retailers who have local supply chains, pay tax to our economy and don’t have to cross boarders to operate
"We do not choose whether or not we worship; we choose Whom or what we worship." He gets it. I love how RB has grown in the past year. His gospel understanding demonstrates the genuineness of his faith, and it's exciting to see how God has been sanctifying him and calming him even right in the public eye as He is. Continue to pray for God to protect and be glorified through him.
This is no gospel.
Not sure what this means but here goes... I do have faith. (of sorts?) My body's a temple i respect. I hold no human being in higher stead than "my faith." Sadly many humans are tainted! (I'm tainted also) I do love many humans but they are fickle and trusting in them is not for me. When I'm thirsty I drink only water to quench that thirst. Immediately after i thank Jesus for providing me the gift of water and love the happiness felt that follows? Peace.
This sermon is best categorized as an "Evangelical Sermon." Main Problem: While it rightly emphasizes human inability and need for divine intervention, it sometimes leans on personal anecdotes to develop theological points, occasionally overshadowing a thorough exposition of Philippians 2. Severity of Law and Clarity of Gospel Law Description: The sermon clearly exposes the human tendency to deny or minimize the depth of sin, framing this as resistance to the truth. It highlights our innate inability to solve our deepest problems or escape our brokenness on our own. Example: "Every instinct we have cries against the reality of personal powerlessness." Impact: The Law is presented with full weight, showing hearers their need for a Savior. Gospel Description: The Gospel is powerfully proclaimed, centering on God’s gracious intervention in Jesus Christ. It emphasizes Jesus’ humility, incarnation, and substitutionary work on the cross as God’s response to our helplessness and guilt. Example: "He came not because we were clean but because we were dirty. It is our sin that summons His grace, not our goodness." Final Grade: A (55/60) This sermon is a compelling proclamation of Law and Gospel, deeply rooted in Philippians 2. It powerfully emphasizes God’s intervention in Christ while avoiding any reliance on human effort. With minor refinements in textual exposition and application, it would achieve an exemplary standard.
I feel sorry for Russell. He needs help. I see the ramblings of a mad man
