The Doohickeys

The Doohickeys consists of singing and writing duo Haley Spence Brown & Jack Hackett.
Hailing from Missouri and Georgia respectively, Haley and Jack met doing comedy in Los Angeles but bonded over their love-hate relationship with country music. On a whim, they began writing their own songs that they dub “Cheeky Country.” Their song “All Hat, No Cattle” was honorably mentioned in the May/June edition of American Songwriter.
The band has played venues such as The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN (supporting comedian Jim Jefferies), the famous Bluebird Cafe, The Hotel Cafe, and more. Usually, you can find them prowling around the LA music scene blasting their unique spin on country music to anyone wanting to have a fun time.
