    Bit late I know, but I really like the look of this dish😋 I don't have an oven safe pan though, and am wondering if I could use something glass or ceramic?. I have a few casserole dishes, a fairly shallow flan dish and a few different sizes of bowl which might work?

    The Costco loaf looked under cooked from here. And you also put the half loaf from the baker back into the oven. I saw it was toasted as you cut it.

    • @SanjayaCookery
      @SanjayaCookery 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You are correct. I toasted both, I'm sorry if that wasn't implied. I always warm breads in the oven, even if I get it from a bakery. The Costco loaf had less color to begin with. To be honest, I would bake it even more, but that's my personal preference! Thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers

    No holes please! Just reduce heat and increase time - that will help with moisture and a crunchier crust, also maybe introduce steam if needed (I know it sounds counter intuitive but just trust me with the proper temps and times dialed in) for the ultimate crust and adjust temp and time accordingly for that ultimate glass shattering crunchy and bubbly looking crust..... no need for holes!

    • @SanjayaCookery
      @SanjayaCookery 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you, you're absolutely right! I was mentioning the holes for people that are looking for a quick bread. But you are correct! Good things are worth the wait sometimes :)

    Why do you have to remove the white ribs of the peppers?

    • @SanjayaCookery

      It's a purely optional step. In bell peppers, it is slightly flavorless. But if you want to include, that also works!

    Nice idea! But I'd only make it if it works out cheaper than buying a bottle of Baileys. Since we need to use a good brand of whisky (plus the other side ingredients), i don't think it would work out much cheaper. So I'll just do what I normally do, and stock up on 2-3 bottles of Baileys when they discount it to half price during the upcoming months to Xmas.
