So I’m a soprano player that has returned to music after years of no playing it. Hope I can get at least 10% of the level of these players, been obsessed with the soprano solo for a while now
Stunning balance, intonation, feel. Great writing for a great band
Nice and tight... the groove is there, for real. Now, give the bones some...
I never tire of this track. This is a great lineup and there's a real atmosphere here.
hats off to everyone in the band! The writing - excellent!. Rich Breen, awesome job!!!!!! Absolutely love the production!
Clay! Nice Trumpet solo! The band is cookin'. ;0)

I thought that I dod something in HS.
AND I THOUGHT THIS WAS GOING TO BE ABOUT A BUTT PLUG!!!
maybe try decaf?
so beautiful! love the soprano sound on top of the saxes. love the brass voicings. love the pianist's chords. love Peter's set-up for the last section. wow. I could feel Mel Lewis's spirit smiling on the session. Hip writing. Dig so much!
Go Adam Schroeder!
I think this is my favorite cut on the CD. These tunes are so musical, intelligent, and the performances are all spectacular.
Agreed.
Great arrangement and solos, especially Bob Sheppard on soprano sax; he has a lot to say. Kudos to the entire ensemble for this cruising jewel.

Incredible!!
I keep coming back to this video to study it.
Beautiful - I'm completely departed now!
What a relief that level of musicality has not been lost.
However, the late night TV pinheads will not pay for it.
GLORIOUS!
Peter.....

Wonderful band - great section and ensemble playing and lovely solos and an excellent arrangement/composition. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
The C.D. is fabulous...all the arrangements and tunes are first-rate! Of course the musicianship is wonderful as well, the players on this c.d. are some of the best in Los Angeles!!
Great stuff!!! Wonderful arrangement!!
Excellent! All good . . . especially like how the trumpet and soprano sax together sound like one "voice"!
これは上手い!
すごくかっこいいですね! JAZZって感じがすごくする
この演奏しているウッドベースの方、上手いですよね♪
Great band, great arrangements and great recording. I am truly envious. I have just given up my big band because of the hastles of getting people together for gigs and rehearsals and feeling that I am spending all my time writing music so that less than 40 people can hear it on the 2 gigs we do a year. Well done to Dave Slonaker. I know the problems involved and he has done well to overcome them.
