Jack mentioned 3 prayers that he prays but he only listed two of them...John 15:15 and Psalm 27:4. What is the other one?

I found you from a google search of this scripture. I had so much confusion after reading it. I wanted guidance and prayed to lead me to somewhere where he could speak to me. This verse was given to me by God in quiet time and journaling and I wanted to know more of what he had to give me through this and what it meant. I felt the presence through what he said and was affirmed time after time after time that what he was speaking was truth. There was no way that by chance what he could have said would have lined up the way it did with what I had received before even searching for a sermon. Thank you for this message speaking what God wanted to say to me in the moment I needed him to speak.

I was saved in 1965 too. Jesus in his grace forgave me and saved me, but then the " church " handed me the scales and at 13 started my debilitating religious journey of trying to keep them leaning in the good direction. I was 30 years old before I discovered grace and freedom.

Jeremiah 23:23 The problem with God is not that He's so far away that we can't see Him. Rather, He is so close that we overlook Him. That means, you can have an Conversation with GOD anytime anywhere . The eternal purpose of God in Jesus Christ is to give us this new relationship with God (John 3:16; 6:37, 39; 2 Corinthians 5:14-21). 1Corinthians 3:16-20 Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.

Excellent message. Spoiled at the end when someone plays the piano so as to try to stir up people's souls to have a fake spiritual ecstasy. This is sadly far too common in the US and is spreading into the UK. It's better to fast and pray that the people have a genuine life changing experience of the Holy Spirit, not a manipulated emotional counterfeit.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, every single thing I believe is centered around the Atonement and Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I owe everything to Him and will praise His name for eternity. His words in John 14:15, “If ye love me, keep my commandments”, are what I choose to live by. When I die, I can be confident that I tried my best to live His teachings, and repented when I fell short. The same Church that Jesus Christ himself established has been restored on the earth in these last days, as prophesied numerous times by Isaiah. If you can break through the accusatory fog the devil places over The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and humble yourself before God to look at it from a truly spiritually honest perspective, you will find the most beautiful thing on earth. The fulness of Christ’s gospel, with genuine apostolic and prophetic keys, restored once more. If you don’t want to take it from me, take it from David Alexander, a man who was an evangelical Christian for 47 (!) years, a pastor on three separate occasions, a professed “Anti-Mormon” for the majority of those years, and someone with an incredible knowledge, love, and reverence for the Bible. “Delighting in Truth and Denouncing Lies” is the name of his channel. If you are an earnest seeker of truth, I implore you to listen to this man.

Also the idea that we believe Christ earned his divinity when he came to earth is not what we believe either. We believe Christ to be the great jehova of the Old Testament and the messiah of the New Testament. He is the only begotten of the father. We believe he created the heavens and the earth under the direction of the father. He has been our savior sense before the world was formed. I don’t want to sound disrespectful, but I just want to make sure the facts are straight.

Lifelong member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints here. I understand that this is all kind of a crash corse of an entire religion and I appreciate the thought of trying to approach the topic respectfully. But 90% of what’s being taught in this video is being taken out of context, blown out of proportion and simply inaccurate. The foundation of our faith is Jesus Christ and his atonement. Every other doctrine is a mere appendage to that truth. It’s true we believe god the father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost to be 3 separate beings. We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is found upon the foundations of faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end. We’re not here earning gods love, or proving our loyalty. We are not earning our way into heaven, nor earning forgiveness. Those things are given liberally to all. We do not earn heaven, merely strive to learn heaven. The truth of the afterlife is vague and 95% of what you find on the internet and books about what we believe about it is simply speculation.

Hey! Please reach out to me or another practicing Latter-day Saint to correct your errors in historic details, church doctrine, beliefs, and basic pronunciation. It is important to have your facts correct and to sound like you have interacted with and studied the scholarly work of practicing Latter-day Saints if you are going to present a critical argument about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As believers in Christ, we should work together to understand each other and to do good in the world, even though we may at times critically analyze each other's differences.

The Trinity is just a CONVENTIONAL doctrine: no third "helper-Godperson" exists. It was not understood that the Holy Spirit is none other than the "Father who is a spirit" ("God is a spirit" Jn. 4:23,24). You can figure it out from the verse on the TWO BLASPHEMIES, where "that Spirit, who is the Father" is called "Holy Spirit" by Jesus. Only the Father, who is a spirit - AKA "Holy Spirit" - is with Jesus.

How friendship with God at the start 20 years ago gradually became trying to obey - and failing - out of a position of non friendship. Somewhere along the line I heard that I had an irreverence towards God as opposed to a fear, as if friendship was a bad thing. Now to rediscover the joy of knowing my first love over everything else. Indeed, I have already started that journey and will never again listen to joyless Christians - rather, I want them to listen to me despite their brilliance with teaching what they have not experienced.
