Burnouts and New Falken Tires
After 40,000 miles it’s time for some new tires on the Durango. I thought I might as well try to do a burnout too. I went with the Falken Wildpeak A/T trail tires. And even tested off road on the beach.

Borla only makes the s-type exhaust for the r/t. Loud when u give it throttle but classy at cruising and idle speed. I highly recommend as it sounds and looks amazing.

You know nothing, dynojet has 3 stages, improved is stock headers/exhaust stock filter, next is stock air filter with slip ons, last is high flow air cleaner which the stock one sort of is and a pipe either 2 into 2 or 2 into 1. prob sold the biek so mute but least you know.
Still got the bike. I forget what I said in this video. But totally different bike after the tune was updated!
Same issue what was the fix
Friggen paid dealer $300 diagnostic fee. They said it was the amplifier. So they ordered the new amp. One week later had my car for a whole day. Then said it was actually the head unit fried itself. So they hadda order the new head unit. Another week later brought it back when they got the part it was fixed. Since they thought it was the amplifier initially and quoted me on that they replaced the head unit under goodwill.
But still paid the original quoted $1200 or so

Yes Magnuson has an option on their website for second and third Gen automatic transmissions

Nice! slapped a lil Afe cold air intake in myself. And a Diablo 93 octane tune. Little more growl from the intake and the tune really beefs up sport mode which is already good 👍

Things are still going good with the tune. Maybe will do an update I got the afe cold air intake too now just slapped it on. Sounds more throatier and definitely sounds less restricted.
This is probably the best version out of all the specs for this truck

Not good brother! Horrible actually. So before the super charger with a tune I was getting about 323 to 350 miles per tank. And now it’s getting about 262. 12 to 13 miles per gallon.
I’m still happy with it though. It’s pretty cool. Lots of get up and sounds great.
With a truck...shouldn't be concerned with MPG...at least I'm not. I'm more concerned about SMILES per gallon. 😉

You said 27 HP gain - do you think that's crank or wheel HP gains? I went to the website and they don't even provide any numbers. I just installed an AFE Scorcher GT module for like $300. It seems faster and better shifts on my '21 Durango RT, Tow N Go. Not sure if I want to remove the AFE module and install this tune or what...?
I left the bypass in for a while until I went to dealer for service I took it out and left it out since.

Yes u have to go on Holley and order the pcm separately it’s ($0.00) if u send ur pcm within like 2 weeks or whatever
So u order the pcm and as soon as u receive it in the mail I would swap them out and mail them ur pcm back.
The whole uconnect system is trash in all brands.

Put hellcat blower on and upgrade the internals for about 7k would be your best bet.....
Bro the supercharger alone is more than 7K. Also you have to completely build the bottom of the engine to handle to boost and even then it’s only up to like 8psi before you gotta start boring stuff out to a 6.1
3:58 I feel that same way with mine, but I'm still waiting to hear my 5.7. The stock exhaust on the regular RT is horrible sounds like a V6.

I have a 2013 DD crew awd 5.7 with 31k miles and I have k&N cai, Borla S type and a Sprint Booster just like a pedal commander and mine is as fast as yours without sport mode or a tune...I dont believe it was worth it....I do love your Durango tho...I love the Borla S type also...Good video...
Lol that pedal commander is gonna ruin your car. I’d never use on of those. Makes no sense to fw the ecu of your throttle.

I had a pedal commander on my dd for about 6yrs and it f'd with my Trans and had to replace it. Then it went and put me into limp mode, I removed it and now my dd is awesome again.

My Borla is coming Wednesday 30 August 2023. Cat back just like yours for install on a 2023. Having someone else install for me for same reasons. Looking forward to this. My stock exhaust isn't nearly as aggressive as your stock exhaust. Weird. Man... those sound incredible.
Im going through the same thing stock sounds like a prius. The tow n go sounds nice but it looks like the same exhaust.
I'm getting mine installed on Tuesday. Cant wait to hear it
@ashleypalmer6604 i had mime installed i get a weird vibration in the rear idling at a light and its annoying. Should ask the shop to cut off blue dampers from stock exhaust and install on new one.

Starting it with one bolt is what caused the starter to crack, that’s a lot of force on just one bolt and cheap Amazon starters are made of shit materials.
What kind of bypass did you use? The one on their website is a long wire. Did you use the one for Jeeps?
The Diablo came with this little powerteq bypass module idk if it’s the same in jeeps
I think you’d want to tune the trans too yeah?
