Jim Morrison’s death is one of the saddest deaths in music history because he was a driven legend who was taken away way before time. Morrison, who was famously discovered dead in the bathtub of his Paris flat when he was just 27 years old, passed away from natural causes, according to his death certificate.
However, The End: Jim Morrison, a new book by French-born former New York Times journalist, club manager, and friend of Morrison, claims that the rock star passed away from a massive heroin overdose in the Rock & Roll Circus club's bathroom in Paris' Left Bank and that the tub was moved there as part of an incredible cover-up intended to shift the blame away from the group of drug dealers Morrison frequented.
