In the Hard Cover you have taken the bleed area slightly bigger, is the bleed area considered to be the wrapper/ foldover area there? Or the wrapper area is given differently?

I noticed on your site that the "Manga Standard" size is way more expensive than say the somewhat closer size A5. The only difference I was able to find was that the A5 had the print on demand option whereas the Manga Standard did not. Is that why the calculator has the "Manga Standard" so high, even for one copy? All my adjustments didn't seem to matter and the price was pretty close between say, 1 copy of the Manga as it was for like 20 (like a $5 difference, but was still over $40 for one copy).

I have to ask, why are your comics not made with comic paper?

I'm so excited about this new feature. I already sent an email through your suggestion box, but being able to change the highlight color on the printlink page and removing the header and instead putting "fulfillment by Mixam" by the buy button would make it really easy to embed an for a printlink document. Love your stuff!

A bit off topic, but I recently ordered two booklets from Mixam; an 8 and 40 page booket. Both of them are beautiful: colors, feel/paper, and they were all full bleed/page images with no issues. I did use their preferred ICC profile and uploaded TIFF/PDF CMYK images (i used Procreate), so I'm not sure that makes a difference in the quality. Also, I really wished they printed playing/tarot cards; postcards are close but they don't offer different image on each card front/back. Thank you again for the great printing.

Can mixam be tied into Amazon fir an order ? How does the customer receive a book printed by Mixam ?Or do I receive the printed books and ship them directly to customers myself ?

Is the recycled natural paper good for dyselxic readers? It says it is off-white and it looks slightly yellow on the example image. I'm needing a paper stock that will make it easy for dyslexic readers and I am struggling to find printers who print in suitable paper.

What is the best software to use for designing books?

I'm hoping to use mixam for an upcoming project, forgive me if the question is silly- but just to be sure, if i put an illustration/photo on the page, do i stretch it all over the page or only up until the first red box? do i spread the image to the first red box and have a white boarder around it, or do i spread the image until the end of the page, crossing over the red box. I just don't want anything to be cut off basically.

What would be a quick way to set up the pages to accommodate for the hinge? Part of the pages will disappear into the hinge. I know we can just set margins to include the hinge measurement. However, this would make the content on the pages look off centered. I would have to set the margin of each recto and verso page individually to make it not look off centered. Any ideas?

I find that making a spread of the back cover, spine and front cover the way to go. As long as the spine size is correct, then the software places it correctly and removes the front cover, back cover and spine from the required pages. The 3D preview however never shows the spine artwork, which would be.a nice touch.
