Sounds nice man!
Can I put my ronin in under slung position?
What is didn’t added the standard of HEIPI customer service. Ordered a Tripod on the 9th September 2024 it’s now 20th of September 2024 and I have yet to receive this item. To ad to this I’ve emailed HEIPI seven times not once have I received a response. No information given on the tracking on any wed site and the Tripod was needed for today for a photo shoot. It has been wasted time energy and money. What good is a product with customer service this poor. But there’s one point HEIPI has still managed to send a number of emails advertising there new equipment.
Did you ever do an update video?
how do you carry it around? No bag?
Sorry, seems like too many zippers which also seem a little rough to operate. also too many small useless pockets. Thank you for your review.
Cool video ! Now the challenge: such a backpack with adjustable dividers, but also with wheels and extendable handle for even more flexibility when traveling. Something in mind ?
Thank u I was looking for this for so long time❤
Manfrotto
The PGYTech zippers doesn't look convincing here. Are they not YKK?
by the time you finished covering the PGYTech OneMo, i was set, not even going to consider the PM one simplly because I want more stealth, I don't want to advertise expensive items too much. It looks like a really nice bag!
Shimoda rules
Pretty nifty!!!
Thanks for your honest opinion. I just bought the pgytech one and Im reaussired I made a good choice.
Grear video. Please keep posting more videos.
10 month update ? I have the 35L for years thinking of buying a new bag and don't know If I should buy another 35L or get another brand
No no no no, sooo cmplicated. 300 zippers.... 100 straps.... small pockets everywhere.... That is not the way to go. I got lost even before putting any gear inside. Whatever happened to lowepro bags that are so simple, straight forward and get the job done?
Great video. But I don't see the difference in them really for major differences. Just because it has Peter's name on it. It shouldn't be over 140 bucks more. Going with the PGY.
It’s a great choice!
Great review. I just ordered the nomadic because it’s $320 on B&H and because I like the laptop part and the fact you don’t have to unzip to use the top part. And now only $70 difference in price
You won’t be disappointed. That’s a great price!
difficult choice, let's buy both ))
I wish I had both myself lol 😂
Nice setup. Love the lighting
Thank you Rickey!
I love the OneMo one but I hate that they did not think on putting the option of the lugging pass to put it with my carry on....
Hopefully they’ll add that in with the next iteration!
Great design & build quality sort of like your Apple Watch Ultra on your wrist.....Tough, ruggered and ready for outdoor action! I've had mine since Kickstarter launch as an early bird backer 18-24 months ago, about to finally take Heipi on her maiden voyage out to NSW Southern highlands, Australia 🇦🇺 This is way better in terms of design & affordability over Peak Design's pricey alternative
Good luck on your trip! I hope it serves you well!
I'm getting lost with all the reviews. They are all the best travel tripods and we are sill all lost.
There are a lot of great options out there. Out of all of the ones I’ve tested so far, this is still my favorite.
Good video ! It is possible to get the handle controller in option for my ring grip plus ?
U can’t put a handle in that
Wow, that is a brilliant design!
It really is!
It is $538 CAD $398 USD on Amazon. I like it but I won't buy it. Too easy for me to lose it while travelling. Especially going for tour in a foreign country. Hiking with an expensive tripod? Not for me.
your depth of field is too shallow, everything is out of focus
this is great review, what i was looking for yeah sorry to PeterM bag but I bought a PGYtech OneMo 2 you get alot for the money
I'll stick with my Nomadic. While I appreciate the price, the way that they designed that front expansion is dumb and a dealbreaker for me. The same with having no place for your laptop. If you put it inside your bag, it rubs against your computer. Nomadic also feels like it's built stronger and will last longer. Even my Peak Design, I've had it for a year and a half, use it every single day as an everyday backpack, and it still looks and feels brand new. Do they use waterproof material and zippers? Both my Peak Design and Nomadic are waterproof. And the Nomadic zipper's may be tighter because they are waterproof zippers.
.
Identical situation for me man! All in with canon but needed another body for ceremonies. Glad I’m not crazy haha
Did you ever get a chance to post the in-depth review of this after your trip?
Thanks for your video. My work is event & concert photography, both video and still image. I plan to use Sony A7Riii for still image as A Cam, and use FX30 as B Cam for video purpose. I used to confuse to choose between FX30 and A6700 before, but your video make me clear that if I want my B Cam for video, don’t worry about losing some function for still image because I can shoot with my A Cam. In some situations, I can shoot some different focal length with my B Cam for still image, but the purpose of B Cam is for video and FX30 is suitable for this job because it is one of the best APSC cinematic camera on the market right now.
Loved the original design. 2 flaws. Side camera access on wrong side (partially mitigated with new top access), and need 2 holder to carry both H20 and Tripod. Perfect solution would be putting Molle on backside of bag. Well done PGYTECH, great review... and agree, best bang for your buck in Photocentric backpacks.
Don’t slide the receiver on it bends the pins :/
Seems like you gotta pay a lot more for that metal plate.
Can you buy the autofocus separately and attach it to the arms. If in the future you want to move on to cinema cameras?
great idea but another of the series of nonsense that does not meet the requirement for a maximum height of 40 cm when folded. So this is just unsuitable for travel. In low-cost airlines (which travelers use non-stop), the upper limit for hand luggage is 40 cm, which is why the vast majority of backpacks are adapted to this, and dragging a 45 cm monster with you is, unfortunately, a complete no-brainer. shame on the extra 5 cm because I love the idea. I really don't understand it at all. everyone looking for a compact travel tripod is looking for something up to maximum 40cm.
I've never been on a flight that didn't have a 55cm cabin bag limit. And that's the case for most places around the world. This is very much a travel tripod and the smaller you get, the more you compromise on features and stability.
wow.. never heard of Ryanair?? wizz air etc.?? you probably haven't traveled much :D lol.. but ok - please you tell me what feature I miss from my 34cm (980g) rollei Compact Traveler No. 1 - carbon tripod?? when you travel a lot you will also very quickly find that even paying 400-800 Euro for Peak design is much cheaper than adding extended baggage limit to low-cost airlines all the time.
@@adamaevaOk
@@adamaeva Maybe you should blame the cheap low quality airlines that you decide to fly with rather than the tripod. Airlines that only accept up to 40cm height for cabin luggage are most definitely in the minority.
Great review, thank you!
The Zips on the PGYTECH seem to be a weak point cf. to the robust Gomatic system.
I need a bag for a RED V-RAPTOR 2 lens, monitor, batteries and cage - Anyone?
I got the PM Nomatic 35L bundle pack ($675) for $399 on B&H last week. Your video was of great help
Warning to Your Viewers: I’ve been waiting for almost a month for an order of two additional quick release plates from Heipi Vision. Even though their product page indicates that they are “In stock, ready to ship”, the delay is very annoying. Contacting support results in links to track the package, which has been in transit from China forever. Buyer Beware.
I sold all my FF Canon gear to get the FX30. I’m so happy!
I shot Canon for 15 years, I moved to Sony 4 years ago, best thing I ever did. Sony don’t cripple their cheaper cameras, the FX30 is the same as the FX3 except for the sensor, same with the A7iv vs A7riv just a different sensor, but everything else is the same basically. But when Canon make a cheaper model, they cripple the hell out of them, they make the camera body worse, software remove features etc forcing you to buy the more expensive body, I was well over that stuff. You should sell a Canon body and get another FX30, it’s better using cameras with the same button and menu layout for muscle and brain memory, and it makes grading easier, or get and FX3.
I have the same situation, Canon and Fuji shooter and just bought a Sony FX 30. Love it.
Pgytwch all the way. Have the smaller one with my linhof twchnika 3 lenses light meter plus extras and ita the most comfortable bag I have had in 15 years. The material is also anti scratch, for when you lay it down on the ground. Nomatif is good but mostly marketing and a price tag to go with that funky logo
Looks bigger than peak design. How does it stack up?
I haven’t personally owned a peak design tripod, but I still love this and use it all the time.
