so catholic vatican 2 council thought these gregorian chants are outdated and they need to go out of the liturgy. yeah, electric guitars and weirdo organists are a way to go.
2nd Vatican council was the smoke of satan entering the church. Removing the Latin Holy Mass, kneeling for communion, and other sacred aspects. Turning the Divine Liturgy into a jazz festival. The Byzantine Catholic church never took the poison. The Byzantine Catholic Divive Liturgy is always Divine. Attend one whenever you can!!🙏😇

@@liberator275 But that's not the fault of the Council, that's the fault of local priests and Bishops, the Council said that the new mass must keep Latin, Gregorian Chant, Pipe Organs and other traditions, in fact the Council wanted the congregation to know how to pray in Latin, our problem here is that our Bishops actually don't want to implement what the Council said, they are the ones who need to be replaced, personally I've seen the new Mass according to what II VC actually said and let me tell you it's fantastic, although I prefer the Tridentine Mass, God bless you

I am not Catholic, but since the Feast of the Epiphany I have rode my e-bike nine miles each way to Mission San Diego every day this year for the last month. Then combine that with working while listening to Gregorian Chants with daily mass, and reading the liturgy of the hours from the Laudate app on breaks, and you will experience what I call full Eucharistic Therapy and Revival of total being. This is where your previous destructive coping methods are not only discontinued but forgotten like Christ has forgotten them. That combined with using my body the way God designed it to be, being with others in the mass, sometimes even talking things over with a Priest afterwards, instead of being mostly sedentary and alone working at home most days, has made me feel my blood pressure, spiking at the end of last year, now falling back into the more normal range. Now I am starting to get a good night's rest thanks to the most powerful intersession of our dear Mother St. Mary who I prayed to when I could hardly sleep and graciously pointed me down this path of performing these simple daily acts of devotion and living as God has intended instead of wallowing in self-pity and fear..
