Savior Specialist Covert Single Rifle Case - Grayman Pack
What would you do in a "without rule of law" situation? Would you try to be the hero and do the right thing, or would you lay low no matter what the right thing is? If you plan to avoid conflict and only act when it is absolutely necessary, maybe you're a Grayman. A person who wants to blend in with the crowd, even though you're not really part of it. A person who stays focused on the bigger picture, which is that of survival. A person who knows exactly what they want and what they have to do to get it.

What scope are you using
It's an old evike red dot that's not made anymore
My AR 47 has hit 1 moa a few times at 100 yards with Steelcase. I posted a video on my channel. Being able to put a magnifier behind the Red Dot really makes a big difference. Something that I can't easily do what an AK-47. I use sb4 or sb5 braces. They're nice because they go on a standard buffer tube. If you had to, you could swap on a stock 😊
WOW!!! With the suppressor on the sound of the bullet striking the plate is as loud as a a church bell tolling...
Haha yeah, the plate it louder than the gun suppressed. You can make music with it!
...keyholing (IMHO) would be a plus in a self defense situation - causing more damage - a 'force multiplier' for the 22 LR...
Not a bad idea. As long as you get decent penetration. Some defensive loads tumble when they hit the target which is a similar idea
...thank YOU for the tip..
No problem 👍
...I wondered about the existence of such a barrel, so I did a Google - found one on the Ruger website...ordered it tonight...it'll pair nice with my new Rugged Mustang...then I found YOUR channel...I'm glad I dropped the hammer on the barrel...
Right on man. I hope it works out for you. Try the mustang in the short configuration first since the LCP22 is a tilting barrel. If that works try the full configuration. It'll probably work since it's so light. Thanks for dropping by ✌️
Nice wwsd carbine :)
Thanks brother! ✌️
These guys emailed me asking me to review this, I told him to send it and then I never heard from them again LOL. Good review man.
That's funny. I've seen a lot of other reviewers getting sent one of their products. They must send out a lot of free stuff. Thanks for watching ✌️
Classy!
Yes sir 😎
If it's reliable that should be a really fun toy
Highly recommended. They have mag guts for a few other 22s as well
I go through about one 1400rd bucket of the Remington golden bullets that Walmart sells per month.
That's a fun time. I use one of those buckets to refill with thunderbolt. Remington makes a great bulk 22 👍
I was just watching a video from a law Channel recently and there is actually a supreme court precedent that if your gun case looks like a gun case the police can search it without a warrant. So having a case that doesn't exactly look like a gun case is not a bad idea.
It's a violin officer 😉 It looks like a camping backpack too. Crazy the supreme court would rule something counter to the 4th amendment but that "probable cause" thing is tricky.
they had these bags on black friday on amazon for like $45. crazy deal for what u get but i already have 4 of these bags in various sizes.
Dang that's a great deal! Thanks for the info ✌️
Does it fit wranglers?
It doesn't. Just tried it on mine
@AmattEUR thanks!
Very interesting! I normally carry a P938 but just bought a 3" barrel Bird's Head Rough Rider. I may carry it once in a while!
That's definitely the idea. It's not a preferred CCW but can be a good option to play around with. Thanks for watching ✌️
That is a neat pack.👍 I have always embraced the "grey man concept" as well. For me, my ultimate "grey man" back pack is a Swiss Gear laptop travel backpack. Almost everyone has one, or recognizes them, and they are totally innocuous when out and about.🤷♂ It won't hold a full rifle unless it is taken down, but a folding braced pistol fits nicely.🫡
That Swissgear is nice too. I have a couple folding braced pistols that would fit in a backpack but I like the idea of having an AR for grayman situations since it's so ubiquitous and ammo, parts and mags are everywhere. Sure an AR could be folded but requires extra parts that could break, rendering the firearm useless. Unless of coarse you go with a high-priced Sig MCX or something similar. This Savior pack isn't as innocuous as a regular backpack, but I think most people still wouldn't know what it is. Thanks for stopping by and watching the video! ✌️
Im taking my rancher to a gun smith and send him this video haha. I dont have an tools for tapping or wanting buy some and not use them after
Nice! Glad to hear you like the idea. Seems like Heritage likes the idea too because they just started selling a rancher model with picatinny on top of the receiver.
Of course the drum jams. Think about the internal feed track tolerances, spring tension, born to jam. But great for the long toilet paper lines and the pending doom come Jan 2025 in Washington.
The drum is definitely a novelty, I would use it for serious situations. Dang TP lines
Prices never go down. Market update 12/30/24: Just bought a Like New, zero wear, 1981/2 Yugo SKS with S prefix serial number, for 745$ on gunbroker. Beautiful condition for 44 years old. Cosmoline still in firing pin, trigger and all pivots. Clean before firing !!! Educate yourself before buying a SKS. Buy the excellent ref book A Collector's Guide To The SKS by George Layman . Read before buying. 👍👍💥🗽
I like it.
Thanks!
I used to shoot 22lr a lot more than I do today, but I recently found a 2500 count lot for 125, less than 150 shipped. It was less than a year ago... I need to get my 22's back on the range, I've kinda been neglecting them, hell I probably don't even have 500 through the MKIV 22/45 Lite I recently picked up,🤷♂ and I have 5 magazines.🤦♂ 🤔I might go after work tomorrow...
Not sure why YT deleted my first response but just wanted to say get back out there and plink away. 2500 rounds for less than 150 is great in today's climate. Thanks for watching ✌️
@AmattEUR Oh yeah, that's why I grabbed it 👍😁 I just pulled up at the range, but all 10mm today. 👍
That sounds fun! I love my M&P 10mm. Enjoy!
What type of handguard do you have ?
I have an FM 45 and i had feeding issues with all but factory glock mags. I started using nothing but glock mags and have not had an issue since. I added the lone wolf +2 extension to some of my glock mags and have not had any issues.
It's definitely a picky gun. Doesn't like the cheap ammo.
As of now (December 2024), you can buy a Barkeep with a 9RD cylinder. I just bought one, with a birdshead grip, with a 9RD WMR cylinder (2.68" barrel). I also ordered a 9RD 22LR cylinder. Using something like Federal Punch ammo, you'd be fine to use as CCW.
Oh yeah, buds has them for $165 right now with the birdshead grip in 22wmr. It's all black too, definitely marketed towards the CCW crowd. Good looking out 👍
Can you share more about the 9 round gun and also the 9 round 22LR cilinder?
@@ac3622 You can get the 9rd Barkeep model at most of your favorite online shops. Heritage has made 9 rd Rough Riders for YEARS, but this was the first time I saw a 9 rd Barkeep. The model I got was blued Black, with a birdshead grip, which, to me, indicates they are marketing it for the CCW crowd.
It could be too much weight to extract. The weight could also impede on the BCG,s travel to the rear. Maybe a lighter buffer spring.
A lighter buffer spring is a good idea to try. Definitely don't want to change the heavy buffer though since it's manufacture recommended and I went through a little trial and error with it already. But at least it's working great with good ammo. Just shot it yesterday with some S&B and performed flawlessly. Thanks for the recommendation 👍
@@AmattEUR let us know, have same problem, ran out of time last range session.
There done😮
She wanted clean dishes so... 🤷🏻♂️
That suburban getting all the heat. Just got one on trade going to see what’s the hype 💥
Nice! Hope you enjoy it ✌️
20 cents a round you say 🥲🥲
Those were the good ol' days ✌️
Is that drum mag made by RIA? ...or another company.
I believe it's Promag
Thinking of getting one, was hesitant since I can’t use my holster but nice I comes with one.
It's a nice holster too. I'm still using it 👍
This is also an issue with Glock 43X & 48 MOS models. If the optic mounting screw is too long it extends into the extractor rod assy hole and you will have a gun which won't extract/malfunction. Always remove the guts out of the slide and check for clearance when mounting optics on G43x/G48 models. I frequently have to shorten the screws and I have mounted about 40-50 optics on these models.
Thanks for the tips and interesting to hear it's an issue with other manufacturers as well
Hello, just a question.. mine is no longer locking. has anyone had the same problem?
That's peculiar because it should lock even with dead batteries. But may be worth changing them out and seeing if that does anything. Also check and see if alignment is off. Hope you figure it out
I would not even keep a gun that did not run as designed. It sucks you need to buy aftermarket parts to make it work. Shame on Ruger.
But I really like the gun, it's an awesome pocket pistol. I don't mind putting 10 bucks worth of springs in it. But yes, Ruger should fix these before shipping them out
@@AmattEUR Yeah, I get it. I really wanted to like it but to me its way to thick and heavy for a 22 and I would rather have a DAO and no safety myself. I prefer my Kel-Tec P32 for pocket carry just because its thinner and lighter and has a more reliable center fire round although expensive ammo by comparison. If someone made the P32 same gun in a 22lr I would jump on it.
Those P32/P3AT Kel Tecs are sweet little guns. I have a Ruger LCP Max for my main carry. Honestly this little LCP22 is just a fun gun for me but I think it would be the perfect pocket pistol for someone with low grip strength or who's recoil shy, as long as it works of course.
What bipod is on ur rifle in this video? I just love how yours looks
Thanks! The bipod is just a generic one attached with the sling mount like this www.amazon.com/CVLIFE-Hunting-Rifle-Bipod-Adjustable/dp/B0827BJJ5P/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=1PYMD1CUYS6O4&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.PLcF7H52Htx0_GHNp5DCBMpSPrFEnK_ZwXbekcfRMuKtqsSiAH440rx8_vQj3IhFhHhWmd-x3vFCk4ZIS9Zrq0HpOfo4UXS21boFzIBQTRDDM0Jn_h5wMheYkDSsvG5uc3JglpUuxtzSD2dApijMWTW7bsm7hwTNSuyhcbxIiUun8ar85BatelVbZDWSGm4LXJwn55d4hxENdfs52dCiTg.wvJ68gconc3FNO2K9pCr5BAvqHHjjljeOS2VVsVOtuc&dib_tag=se&keywords=bipod+sling+mount&qid=1733838496&sprefix=bipod+s%2Caps%2C192&sr=8-4
We keep loaded firearms scattered around the house, easier than on the hip all day long...our 6.5 inch heritage is in the basement, Hornady loaded...big area, laundry down there, beats the nothing we had there before...
Great option to have a few scattered around the house. Cheap but reliable. I also have firearms scattered around the house 👍
Haha just found this, good intro and review
Hey thanks man! Coincidentally I just finished filming a part 2 with the Walther PPK/S in 22lr. Hoping to have it posted this Saturday
Just put mine together only thing i dont know about is the lil white box that is supposed to be used as a backup is pretty nice for the price
Yeah that little white box plugs into the port under the knob, I believe, and will power it so you can open it and change the batteries. Definitely a great cabinet for the price. Thanks for watching ✌️
Great Video I don't have one but the first time at the range with one it became one of my favorites.
It's a great piece of history and really fun to shoot. Thanks for watching!
I have a shit ton of those Korean mags so this is in the works I plan to fix em up with a dremel and new springs
Hope it works out! Seems like with the right ammo these mags perform well
Wonder if it can be forced reset 😅
If what can be forced reset?
@@AmattEUR frt
Oh I see. It does accept drop in triggers so maybe
Doesnt work, don’t waste your time, heard 9 works though.
What about with the Alamo frt? I heard just rare bread wasn’t working well with the .45.. but also heard piston ars work and it’s hard to make a di work with .45acp idk shit though, here to learn more
Unbelievable, you think they should have more accessory's and more stuff for the LCP series 😂😂 do you have a clue, you don't want nothing on the gun , you don't want to add anything. It's supposed to be plain and small as possible, it's a pocket carry pistol . You don't need a light or laser or anything. Get a clue , if you want that 💩 then buy a different gun .
Not sure why you watched/clicked on the video lol 😆
@AmattEUR I watched because I own 2 LCP MAX and I watch all videos on the gun . The gun is for the pocket for a up close defense if needed . It's not meant for additions and to be made bigger , all I'm saying is if you want ad ons then buy a different gun . Get a clue
@RonSaywer so you watch videos that you already think serve no purpose just to leave negative comments? I'm pretty sure you're the one desperately searching for a clue 🤣
@@AmattEUR no that is not what I did . I watch all LCP MAX videos. I just said what I thought , it's no biggie.
@RonSaywer and what you thought was nothing but negative, ignorant and highly irrelevant to the thousands of people who clearly disagree with you. You're acting like this is the only gun I own and I made some sort of bad decision, according to your limited information of me, and you don't even know me. I have many carry guns, I like this gun, I choose to carry it for it's size/firepower/reliability ratio, I choose to illuminate my target, I don't think the light adds significant size or weight. It's still smaller and lighter than any gun of it's size/firepower/reliability ratio. And that's what I think, no biggie. Keep the comments coming, the YT algorithm and I thank you 😁
Turns on light “maintain element of surprise” .. derp derp
Apparently you've never gone from a lit room to a dark room. Derp derp
I know im late to the party but Ive been doing some researching and I also plan on buying this light/holster combo for my LC380. Based entirety on this video. Ill let you know what I think of it ❤ Also. Those shots at 25 yards is 10/10 👌
Any video on a taurus ar 15 t4?
Honestly I had no idea Taurus even made an AR
I poor the cap full and dunk snake in it.. so as not to get random things in my solvent. CLP is supposed to work as a carbon cleaner as well.
That's probably a better idea than what I do. Usually I end up throwing out the last 20% or so after it gets too dirty. But at least a bottle of the bore cleaner lasts a long time. And I used to use CLP for the barrel but that'll leave behind oil that will attract dirt and grime so I switched to the bore cleaner, just for cleaning out the barrel.
I learned what keyholing means today. Thanks!!! :)
Glad to pass the knowledge along 👍
What size battery does it take and can you even change it? Does it come with instruction book on that?
It comes with one of these batteries. Simple to change but I don't think I've ever changed it a.co/d/gAPSiW8
Can is loud af
Not really. I have another video demonstrating how quiet it is. You also saw it with only 3 baffles when it has 6 fully configured. Plus having it on a short barrel is way louder than a long barrel
@ oh good! I wasn’t aware it was reconfigured. That matters lol
I bet you took off the optic by now
Nope, still on there. I did put the original box mag back on though so it'd fit in my cabinet better
I ordered the Mini 550 lumen for my Maxim PDX SBR in 5.56 and was so impressed with it I ordered 2 of the M9L-G’s with 1300 lumens for my other 2 AR’s! Great video 👍🏻
