They’ll never respect Trikes until they have no choice to get off two wheels. If they just quit riding, because they don’t want to be seen on a Trike, they were never serious riders to start with.

I'm a senior rider that's been riding a FZ6 for over 3 years and I love 2-wheels. However, I'd like to take my wife on my rides but have never felt comfortable with a passenger. Thinking of getting a 3-wheeler for these types of outings. Any recommendations on a used 3-wheeler, or perhaps certain years/models to avoid? Enjoying your vids.

Yea, I ruined my gold wing by converting it to a three wheeler. Those things are absolutely dangerous. They can pull you right off the road. Uneven payment, a bump, a lean and the damn thing will shout off course. Put you in the trees or worse. It was so long it took an expressway to turn around. If you ever rode one of those Honda balloon tire three wheelers you know what I mean. Honda discontinued them cause they were so unsafe. If you want a motorcycle get a motorcycle, if you want a tricycle by a Schwinn.

Sandman, I agree with you on all points. Some critics don't deserve an audience so I wouldn't use my platform to even address their criticism. I never let others write my narrative, who elected them as the motorcycle community director and spokesperson anyway?!

I broke my back in 1985. That did not stop me from riding.., i have had a bike sense I was 17. I am 62 today and the back injury has come back to haunt me.., it got to the point where i could not walk for 2 days after a one hour ride. It is the side to side motion of a two wheel brick that damages my lower back. I finally traded my ultra limited for a tri glide. I am back riding again and loving it. My wife and i put on a tone of miles and ride almost daily, 2, 3, 4 hours at a time. If you don’t respect trikes or people that ride them, you need to open your mind and realize riding, being in the wind is what matters.

People who make negative comments about trike riders have extremely low intellect.

I have used mostly Back Roads on my trips.....I usually plan fairly well for them and some of the unexpected...Highways are good except when the drivers behind you RIDE YOUR TAIL ! Depends on the desires...but again..usually travel the backs. Enjoyed the video Sandman !!

I am interested in getting a trike but there is one concern I have about it. Where I live there are deers that often jumps out onto the road and as you know,of course,without warning. In addition to operate the trike at a slower speed,what to do if one jumps out in my path without injuring myself,hurting the deer and damaging the trike,if all possible?

I am 64 but I been riding for awhile and I need to get my license again because DMV lost papers from the school I taken! 😒

VietNam vet ran an independant shop in thev70s. The utility trike kept him in the wind, despite the loss of a leg.

My personal distinction between a "car" and a "motorcycle" - with a motorcycle your passenger rides behind you, with a car your passenger rides beside you. The Spyder is a car. It has a steering wheel, speed and braking are controled with you feet (just like a car), and your passenger sits beside you. What about sidecars? Well, you passenger could sit behind you but chooses not to.

I have bikes and trikes, and in my opinion, riding a trike requires more riding skill.

Thank you for this video. I'm looking to switch to a trike since I had to sell my last 2 wheeler due to sever arthritis issues. This would be my first trike so I know it will take me some time to master the different riding style. Keep the videos coming. I need them.

BACK ROADS for me! But you already knew I’d say that!! Long highway rides (30+ minutes 😂) are boring to me. I love the back roads, the small restaurants, the people, the scenery, less traffic… It’s amazing how much I’ve seen just within an hour or two of my residence. I’ve done the long highway miles when it was the practical decision. but quiet back roads are no doubt, my preference. Thanks for another great video! Airborne All The Way!! 🪂

I'm a first trike rider. I always what two wheels when I get on my trike I let out the clutch give it a little throttle, and the bike will make a hard right. What am I doing wrong
