@@TanzaniaTony get well soon, cograts again
Tony I disagree about moving further out. I will say it’s not always “ideal” however I have a lot more land, less neighbors and maybe a bit too many fruit and nut trees but it is going to be important now that the beast system is here (but not yet rolled out). I’m in Pwani region and it’s growing slowly but Dar is just too full for me. Plus the noise of all the clubs with the insane speaker systems is a no for me. It just depends on what’s important to you. Access, rent/home price, land size, power outages, peace and quiet all play a part. I’ve been here a year and 4 months and have lived in 3 of the popular diaspora locations. I am older but I realized I’m not missing anything in those areas but a quicker drive to do shopping. I have my own car so it’s not a big issue for me. You are a brave soul for building from the ground up. I bought a fixer upper and that was A LOT 🤦🏽♀️but it’s mine! 😅
True I should've said different strokes for different folks. Some people like the quiet farm life. Also you can get way more land so it can be a better deal. But I need shoppers and a good mall 😆
@TanzaniaTony I feel you but now that I don’t rely on Shoppers as much, I save so much more money going to markets which are SO much better and cheaper. Trust me, it’s an adjustment though cause I do enjoy a good mall! But part of the fun for me is stepping away from what I’ve always known and what’s always been comfortable and learn how to live and exist in a different way. Otherwise why not just stay in America? I’m now starting to order things to my house from Instagram so that’s my new “Amazon” 🤣. But the main goal is to teach myself how to rely on what GOD provides such nature and natural resources more and not “man” because everything won’t always be like this. Like I stated before, as long as I have “access” to those things, I’m good! Be blessed🙏🏽
I love it.... Much respect from Houston tx.
Thanks brother. Much love to you and your family
In Tanzania you can get residence via investment, retirement or marriage. For marriage (it works for foreign women only married in Tanzania), for men it is silent, and i think, some men may be told to take their wives to their countries. Retirement Visa, is up to 2 years. There are also, Volunteer VISA, and working permit. Tanzania doesn'tballow dual citizenship, but after staying in a country one is allowed to apply for citizenship by naturalisation but will habe to denounce former citizenship. Only, Children are allowed dual citizenship.
Great information family. Thank God they make it possible for us to live here as foreigners. 🙏
@TanzaniaTony We also love foreigners in Tanzania. Complications are just there as a FILTER, because not everyone can be good in any place.
Dope. Proud of you bro
I appreciate it brother
Great video.
Thank you very much
Realistic conversation.
Try to keep as real as possible for youtube
Good clip.
Awful. No respect for the dead.
It's sad
I have lived in Brazil for over 10 years, and I have had a terrible experience. I have been mugged more than 3 times, my family has been kidnapped (they only stole money and didn't hurt anyone, fortunately). There was once a time when my colleague didn't return money that I lent them, and when I questioned them about it, they got angry. What's worse is that many criminals use their money to buy drugs. I heard of a case where an elderly man lost all his belongings, including his documents, because of the mugging and is now living on the streets.
Sorry about that sir I hope the police were able to assist you
Hey Tony. We are currently in Dar es Salaam and would be great to meet with you while we here.
Hey, good evening. I hope you’re enjoying your stay in Dar . How long will you be here for?
Respect brother. Are your parents east African or Black American, I think you look East African.
Respect to you as well my parents are Guyanese but I was born in NYC won’t go back though 😆
Bro will you be in tanzania in march?
I should be here. I have no plans on leaving until my house is done. I’m broke 😆
I'm Black American/FBA male. I'm also a Sofa Archer. "Sofa" is a Mandinka (also Mandingo) word for "warrior". I like some parts of Africa. Particularly Senegal and Rwanda for visiting. I'm also looking for a woman in Africa👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻!!!!! Particularly women from east Africa like Rwanda. I like tall, slim, thick women, and it's probably a safe assumption to say east African has plenty of tall east African beauties, but I could be wrong. Anyways, we'll see how it turns out. It's only one way to find out. FBA all the way, everyday🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻!!!!! Yera💧.
They definitely have a variety to choose from make sure to check out all of the countries in east africa
Can’t do polygamy wedding as Christian in TZ. Only Muslim, or if you are non-religious maybe?
Muslim you can but you can just get a girl as a mistress living in a different house. If you want multiple families
I don’t know why Americans have perception that anyone can do polygamy in Africa.
It’s sad that people have these incorrect assumptions about Africa based on white media in America 🇺🇸 😂
love the video!😍 Tanzania is absolutely a great place to relocate
Thank you my sister. Yes I love it here. It has really helped with my mental health. I’m subbing to your channel btw. 💪🏿
5:27 5:27 I have watched this vlog, again and come to conclude that, the media business lies on negativities. The, young journalist finds his job tough because there is no much negative events to report
I agree with you brother the media lies especially in the west. In africa the media is more trustworthy.
You were giving the realness on the land conversations, how many think, just buy some land over there and how many have gotten a reality on that, that is why it is essential to be able to have personnel like you that are feet on the ground over there.
Thank you so much brother 🙏🏿
Good interviewing with the guy, definitely, like to see more interviews with locals.
Thank you very much. I’ll try to get more interviews. They can be hard to come by because people have camera anxiety.
hey Tony, thanks for sharing, whats the name of the area name you were walking taliking at 1:23 min , thanks
It’s in Goba
@@TanzaniaTony its so nice, i must buy lands there , i like the beach, thanks for sharing, salute my guy
Your title is misleading..no such thing in Tanzania 🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿
Exactly but in America, do you think people comprehend that? No they go off of what they see on discovery channel 😂 that’s what I highlight in the video
@@TanzaniaTony Discovery channel must have confused us with our neighbor 😄
They don’t even investigate. TH-cam will be the most research some people are willing to do on a country. 😂 I swear but hopefully i can show the beauty of africa. It’s our origin I feel amazing here in Tanzania 🇹🇿. God bless Africa
The title to this video is hilarious man!! 😅 I hope you are not Tanzanian, not even an East African because what you are insinuating is totally uncharacteristic of Tanzania and Tanzanians. The way Tanzanians talk about tribes is like Caucasians talk about eye color or hair colour. It's doesn't change anything or any fact that you are all white!! People may have preferences within is those boundaries but everybody knows they don't have any effect in real life!! ....there are a lot of stereotypes but even those don't work, for instance, I am married to a PARE lady. The PARES are famous for being very selfish and self centred.....but look I am married to one and I would want to have anyone else in this life...... Tanzania is totally not like what your headline says!!
That’s why you have to watch the video. It’s like thinking you understand a book from reading ONLY the COVER. All it takes is 1-2 minutes to understand the video is positive. The title of the video highlights things said by other Americans. Next time take a few minutes to watch the video. I hope you are not one of those people that leaves reviews before utilizing the product or service. 😂
I watched the video bro!! That's why I took time to explain some things a bit. If your title was like "" tribe dynamics in Tanzania " it would have made things a bit smooth but "tribalism" is a negative word. The title and the contents are two worlds apart. The video is good though, you got nice, honest people to answer your questions very well. I enjoyed watching it......kudos on that!!
Gotta get people on the clicks 💯. Dropping positive information in a sneaky way 😈 😂 thanks for watching, we appreciate you. You have helped my family with your view. 🙏🏿💪🏿
Proud of you bro for coming to Africa by 2030 Africa is going to be a beast economically & infrastructure wise i would defo like to hook up with her friend if she is not married i know you was a member of the passport bro cartel group but i cannot find your name keep the videos coming brother you were right Africa is the real heaven
Good evening my brother her friend has a husband now. Don’t be discouraged though there is a lot of single ladies looking for a serious relationship. I deactivated my Facebook. Thank you brother
@TravelingTony1 Thank you brother for your response i knew she will not be single for long i am defo looking for a wife there they are submissive and cater to they husbands well as you know marriage is not a joke in Africa & is taken very seriously by customs & traditions i will continue to catch up on your channel is they any other way to contact you brother i am from the UK
Business owners (especially small business owners) always have that tradition of OVERCHARGING anyone that they discover is not FAMILIAR with the PRICE of the service or product you want to purchase. Even we LOCALS get OVERCHARGED. The best way to deal with this is do little research online or asking what are the real price of the products you need, knowing prices before hand will help you get everything right. Foreigners are easily OVERCHARGED because, once you speak they know exactly you are not familiar with the price. It always happens, even when you are from lets say Dodoma to Dar es Salaam and Motocycles or Bajaj discover you are not familiar with what you want to do or where to go, they will overcharge. It' s a learning stage, when overcharged once, it wont happen again as you will understand the real prices. So, the issue is not about MZUNGU PRICES, it's about taking advantage of anyone that they think is not familiar with the game
Great information again brother. I been learning as I go. I have been working on my Swahili and understanding how negotiations work here. 2026 I think I will attend the university to learn the language
@TravelingTony1 Sure, When you learn the language, life will become super easy! And, fortunately Swahili is NOT that complicated. It's A, E,I, O, U. If you can read it, it's just the same way it's pronounced. And, it has so many words from English.
