I have seen this before many times, still makes me chuckle. It had loads of big names from the time in it.

Really enjoyed our short visit there, and have been again with Family, and planning to return in December to celebrate my own Birthday.

Was always my favourite stand-up comedian - even funnier than the Big Yin: Such a shame he turned into a thoroughly miserable old git later in life.

Victor Borge was amazingly talented and greatly appreciated. I was about 13 or so when I first saw him on TV, though an uncle of mine had one of Victor's albums and I had listened to that previously. I feel a little sad that no one else has commented upon this excellent clip. Thank you for posting it.

Rodney Bewes, Wilfred Bramble, Joan Sims, Ron Moody, Barbara Windsor, Brian Murphy and many more. Well worth the watch if you can find it. Used to be here on YT but seems to have been removed :(

Different people like different types of Humour, and what appeals to some, does just the opposite to others. I have a Birthday exactly 2 weeks before Xmas Day, and I always play the Budgie sketch sometime that day, as a good laugh is a good way to start the Day!

Ackroyds funeral still makes me grin from ear to ear. I used to listen to a cassette of his work , that I’d borrowed from my dad’s collection , whilst doing my Citizen paper round in Cleveleys . A true comedy genius ❤️

Ronnie and Ronnie should have been Knighted simply for the fun and enjoyment they gave to millions of us. I cant do them justice so I wont try other than to say they were irreplaceable and very sorely missed.

We took it for granted that there would be a never ending supply of really great quality humour in those days, there were so many excellent comics, Dave Allen, Tommy Cooper, and of Course Arthur Lowe and the Dads Army team, to name only a few. Sadly we were wrong.

Just waiting for San Ferry Ann if you haven't done it already.
