Paris, Texas w/ Felicia Maroni
Seth-vember continues with a hard turn into the bowels of human misery with Paris, Texas! Michelle and Seth are joined by Felicia Maroni of the Seeing Faces In Movies podcast to discuss Wim Wender's 1984 masterpiece. They discuss shower songs, taking the pill of this movie to feel pain, the logistics of the plot and the oddly large poster of Yentl. It's a place of dreams and neon landscapes and we hope you'll join us in our misery.

Popeye Candy Sticks used to be called Cigarettes and had a red/pink dot on the tip. I sell various candy sticks products in little cigarette boxes in my (Canadian) candy store, including boxes that look like real cigs, and some with DC superheroes on them! :)
I love this mindset, and excited for this new series ❤❤❤
🙌🙌
After listening to Business Money Hacks non-stop for the past 4 years, it's incredible to hear Bridge Stuart saying fully sane sentences.
My name is Thelma🙈🙈
we stand corrected
I just saw this film and was extremely disappointed. A three hour movie of just random things happening with like six different storylines going on. The scenery was great but other than that, I found it to be scenes and stories that were not intriguing at all. Big thumbs down for me with Horizon.
Thanks for sharing !!!
Dr. Zaius
Thanks for sharing!!
Great!!!!
Thanks so much!
The generals in the freezer didn’t die and I feel like this is a plot hole that isn’t necessary to be answered for the story anyway. The general was present in the final scene when Korbin’s Mother spoke to the president and they started passing the phone around. Like how did they get out of the freezer if Korbin went from activating the weapon to being in the chamber at the lab.
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Matches are back up if my liter dies i quit smoking 🚬 now i vape but i do for pot flower
He just laughed like muttly! Lol
hhehehehehe
Like Mark Zuckerberg. Smokin those meats 😅😅😅😅
I am the same age as the mom 😭😭😭

He connects with Elliot when they are doing the hand signals in his room. They become psychically one. This allowed Elliot to feel E.T.’s feeling which is also why Elliot started dying when E.T. did only until E.T. chose to end that connection to save Elliot’s life. The great thing about the movie is that this alien all alone can find commonality with this boy (alone as his dad just ran off “to Mexico”). They both needed each other.
❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
There should be merch with Seth's face and a comic style bubble saying "sure".
This is a great idea hahahaha
"Your peach is out, I'm pokin it!" This girl gets it.
I know a lot of animation companies copied pixar back in the day, and everything started to look the same. Hopefully in 10 years we won’t have people copying the spiderverse style, and it becomes stale
Right, hopefully they just continue to branch out
What’s weirder is that the first thing that came to mind was going to the JFK Assassination too.
It's what the people want!
Hi Barbie !
Hi Barbie!
OMG, its me! IM in this video! @13:02
Yeah! Glad you found the video! Thanks again!
you should've done the barbie wave 👋
no sequel
Maybe doc brown took a shower, and the toilet seat was wet from the steam
EXACTLY! - M
Absolutely agree with Michelle. Now i think ive seen it as a kid but i know the music regardless, I'll have to re visit it
Its such a joy to watch!!
Within the space of 20 seconds I heard negative opinions about two great movies (Romeo + Juliet and The Lion King) and I may never fully recover. Also, Betsy's theory about Truman's butt is brilliant.
👋 love the show thanks for the upload 😊
Mich if you want to do a Schitt's Creek podcast, I'm down. 💯
when i go to the mall and I'm on the 2nd level or higher, i always think someone is going to throw me over the edge. i walk as far away from the ledge as possible
Just Michelle reading Seth's serious reviews of movies he was forced to watch by his kids would be funny.
There are A LOT of those
I want a "ONLY talk to me about movies" shirt
And what if I said I was working on one
This was so fun to watch!😂 Trying to guess the films along with and I failed haha
I (Seth) was sweating in my seat
Heeeey I know Shauna!! I know someone famous 😜 great work guys

Bad Movie Date: I once took someone to the midnight premiere of National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets. I never heard from them ever again. This is the sole reason why I don't take anyone to the movies anymore. LOL
If they aren't down with Cage I say good riddance
@@MovieFriendsPodcast i agree, but I also understand as well lol 😆
From the jump, neither of you looked excited to do this. lol
Unfortunately this testing was doomed for the start.
Michelle's apple thing broke my brain, and that is only 3:11 in. Seth having both apple and rice opinions is sending me. This video is tremendous.
Did this inspire you to try any of these at home?
this was excellent. i cackled.
We are glad that our pain has brought you joy
😂 I am honored and I am appalled! Orange sherbet is probably the worst one tho. Strawberry or rainbow were the go to.
I guess we'll have to give it another go in round 2
@@MovieFriendsPodcast please don’t 🙏🏽
Idk but the apple dish looks good (would change the apple though because granny smith is also my least fav). The concept of bologna (esp as someone who doesn't eat meat) makes me want to cry/die 😂
Yes! Granny Smith haters unite. I literally felt like crying eating that, and it is definitely the last time in my life I eat bologna - Seth
Seth had wondered what long time listeners who had an idea of Michelle in their head would think now that we've heard about her fascination with Bigfoot. So, I was saying that I think Seth and Michelle are both equally quirky. Tbh, I thought Michelle would say she would act like one would if they were meeting a celebrity if she met Bigfoot. "I'll take my answer off the air" is a thing sports radio and NPR listeners will say after asking a question on air. I also learned tonight that the phrase was said on the Parks & Rec episode "Pawnee Zoo" [S02E01].
Hey- it's Dan Port. Thanks for sharing my story! I'm shocked to hear someone has not heard of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, especially to not know that but know the parody Men In Tights! Prince of Thieves was everywhere that summer of '91, with the Bryan Adams song and everything. I even had trading cards for that movie that I found while going through old boxes a few months ago!
Send us some pics of the trading cards if you still have them! As far as the Robin Hood knowledge, Michelle is always full of surprises 😎
It's called a wife beater. Not a f'ing camel toe or whatever u said.
Michelle is going to be an advocate for this parenting philosophy until Seth tells her he's forcing his kids to sit through Tampopo.
This is a fantastic point
