Not sure this is what I would be teaching my Kids. CBP just seized over $18 million dollars worth of fake Gibson that were headed to our market. I would rather we understood the impact this has on our fellow Americans and the impact to their lives. while we have to pay a more realistic cost for the American labor, we can be also understand that’s one of the reasons we all are not speaking Chinese.

String spacing looks off. A to D and the D to G.

I got a 000-28 eric clapton, a 914ce, a J200, a cheryl crow country western, a john lennon J160, a hummingvird and a J45..all arrived ..logos are covered and under the top in a baggie..

Sounds pretty good! One way to tell if it has solid wood B/S is to take the end pin out (strap button) at the bottom of the guitar and you should be able to see if it's layered wood (laminate) or a solid piece of wood. You can see the same thing with the top as well if you examine the sound hole and see if the top is layered or solid.

The difference in person is massive at least on the D45 copy I tried at a friend's place a couple years ago. There was no low end and was very quiet in comparison to my HD28. It basically sounded like the $200 starter guitars you see at music stores. I've gotta say, it looked fantastic though.

Put that sucker in front of a loud speaker playing something with a lot bass in it when you leave the house for a few hours or all day while you're at work and it'll vibrate the top/ simulate playing time and it'll open that guitar up.

You can bet your life it is not solid Wood !......I bought a Chinese Martin Copy D-45 the one Neil young used on 'Old Man', looks nice but it is laminate through-out and sounds........ crap!..
