Hello everyone!
In this video I try out some different art supplies I bought from Lil Thingamajigs (if you've watched the short you'll know, and if not, that's okay!)
I'll be swatching the materials and then use them all to draw one of my characters in a manga-inspired style, while sharing some tips along the way!

I got these pens as a gift. I noticed the lack of variety in line thickness. I kinda wish it could have thicker lines, as thats what I was expecting of a fountain pen. To be fair they’re called “modern” script so maybe they’re fountain pens that are good for practicing how to hold them at the right angles before you have to use more traditional fountain pens?
Maybe! That sounds reasonable. I also noticed the lack of line variation and I definitely have to practice using them properly because I wasn't always able to write with the angle I was holding it sometimes. I do think they're probably geared more towards writing than drawing, as it's somehow similar to the width you'd get from a standard .07 ballpoint pen, but fancier~ I have been enjoying fudenosuke and sign pens for their ability to make varied lines. I'm not too familiar with fountain pens, but if I try any others, I'd be happy to make a review 😊

Hi there! So, I've had my set for around 2 years now, but I haven't used them that much, so I'm not sure how long they would last with regular use. I will say that mine are still as good as new pretty much in the 2 years I've had them
