Lee is an award winning Underwater DP and Camera Operator based in South Florida. He is a Nauticam ambassador, equipment specialist for Reef Photo & Video, and owns/operates Wild Shutter Imaging, a small production company based in South Florida where he specializes as an underwater camera operator filming for commercial, short film, tv programs, and documentary projects. HIs work has been featured on a variety programs including National Geographic, Netflix, History Channel, and Discovery Channel.

Schooling Barracudas
The famous dive site of Bradford Shoals near Kimbe Bay in Papua New Guinea is something really special. These large school of barracudas and jacks are consistently found here hovering above the 2x large underwater pinnacles.

Great stuff. Heading to Socorros next month with the S1H. It looks like your are using manual white balance, which I do as well. Do you use a red filter as well? My last trip to Bonaire would have benefited from using a red filter below 40fsw.

Great channel my friend, great job! Please tell me what camera settings you would recommend for Z-CAM, H.264 (H.265) / rec.709 or Z-Log2 / ProRes 422 . Any other ideas? Thank you.
Hi Aleksandr, Thanks for the comments! It really all depends on your preference. If you're using an external recorder like the Ninja V, I prefer shooting ProRes 422 or ProRes RAW as there some major benefits in terms of render times/performance in post production. Zlog2 is also my preference as with that flat color profile you have a bit more flexibility for adjustments to both color and exposure in post. Hope all of that help out!

Sony 85mm 1.8 or Sony 90mm f2.8 which one is best?????
Hi Siva, for underwater imaging the Sony 90mm is really the stronger choice as it can focus so close to the subject due to its macro abilities. This makes it ideal for shooting small subjects and filling more of the frame, in addition to the benefit of being able to shoot very close to the subject - therefore improving the color, contrast, and sharpness (the more distance or water really between you and the subject the more the color,contrast, sharpness degrades). The 85mm is a fantastic lens in air and perfect for portrait shots, just not as great underwater because the min focusing distance is much longer then the Sony 90mm if that makes sense :)
