I think you played it right, and it seems that other folks on BGG have agreed. This fight was interesting to see, because I got crushed in my one time facing White Widow. You have inspired me to try again.

Thanks so much MM :) I appreciate the shout-out and the good words! I wasn't expecting it at all and I quite enjoyed it :) I'm so happy that you and others enjoy my content! Just a bit of clarity for some of my designs: 1. I did redraw most of the character art for all my designs and always HEAVILY referenced the official art when available (otherwise I would just draw it from scratch). 2. The United Villains cards are treated as mini dashboards (they don't replace any Threat cards) and you actually DO use the additional miniatures in this mode (as the miniatures move around). Also, they are more akin to Henchman (so they can be damaged right away) and have no winning / losing conditions (they just make the game more difficult and allow for some cool villainous team-ups and you absolutely can add as many additional United Villains you want to any single game too!) 3. If a Ravencroft Break-Out! Fugitive has 4 cards, you get to use all 4 cards :) The difference with Green Goblin is that I gave him a choice of 2 cards for each of his 3 cards so you can pick and choose how you want to "build" him (I thought it would be a fun little extra just for him). I themed 3 cards around his insanity and the other 3 cards around his gadgets / equipment. It's up to the player to decide which cards they want to use (which is limited only by the card # itself). *** I have a more Fugitives coming soon as well as a new fun little "explosion" piece to place on the Cell Block Location after all the Break-Out Plan cards are completed (to showcase that Fugitives can now escape - which see's the Fugitives complete their Break-Out Plan - testing security, causing riots and diversions, etc. - and that they can blow a hole in the side of the Cell Block and everybody can escape including Villains that were not used - this leads us to my next game mode called "Crime Wave" which is a blend of Ravencroft and Patrol Night ) :) Oh, and the other game that I do a lot of homebrew designs for is CMON's Masters of the Universe: Clash for Eternia (my #1 favourite game of all time!). I've actually had direct communication with CMON a few times regarding my "Nicholls Variant" design for it (which is a 100% re-design of the Solo / Co-op mode). Hopefully we'll see something official someday ;) ... (maybe...)

Not gonna lie, that first mini you showed threw me for a loop Lol. Mordengrad ironically does have alot to do with Baron Blade, as it's basically his country! I love Absolute Zero, but he does get confusing if your controlling multiple heroes simultaneously trying to remember everything he can do. As for the backstory, the TLDR he was in an accident that permanently dropped his body's core temp to absolute zero. Any temperatures warmer than liquid helium was basically fire, and room temperature air burned his body as if he were engulfed in flame. That suit he's in (similar to Mr. Freeze) is the only way he can live outside of a Cryo Chamber. The suit modulates his internal temperatures, keeping it at absolute zero. He's basically Mr.Freeze stuck in an Iron Man suit. Congrats on your victory!

Fantastic playthrough. I really enjoyed playing Dynasty Warriors on console, so it was great to see the characters in a United version.

That was a fun game! Weerwolf by night only regenerates at the end of the villains turn so the draw at 55:42 was illegal. However, you didn't draw a card at the end of the MP card just before that so that evens it out :).

This scenario is a bit mind-bending, with the villains "helping" you complete missions quickly. It has been a pretty easy win in my couple plays, but still tense, as you say. I have very much enjoyed fighting them with 2 heroes. The main difference between playing an MP card face down and removing it from the game is that if the deck is already empty, the latter doesn't make you immediately lose. I think you forgot to do the BAM effect of clearing thugs/civs a couple times, but not a big deal. I'm not sure I ever noticed that some MP cards put tokens around Doppelganger rather than Demogoblin!

Red Hulk destroyed me! He batted me around like a cat with a toy. LoL

Red Hulk absolutely clobbered us! We just couldn't get away from him and weren't managing Betty well enough to survive. It's funny how she sort of does her own thing even though the heroes need her. It'd be interesting to swap her movement mechanics around with Senator Kelly's, who is happy to tag along with heroes and do what they want. Also, I had to laugh at the endgame state of your Rescue Civilians card. :D

I love how everyone including yourself, comes up with the ideas to keep United fresh.

Remembering those rules where a villain doesn't take the first so many damage, can be tricky to remember.

I enjoy Maestro. It can be a tough battle. For Hulkling, I was thinking you might take a permanent damage reduction, which could allow them to survive Maestro BAM!s. The one you picked also seems pretty good, especially with that location in play, assuming you remember it each villain turn. That was an amazing first round. In the turn starting at 36:36 (and ended at 43:06), it seems like you were really concerned about a KO forcing you to lose your wild token. Is there some game effect that I'm not aware of or remembering that would cause that? Love the disclaimer at 55:59. (SPOILER ALERT) Nice finish. It's great when a plan comes together.
