are you able to do the FS KBT L-188 Electra from fsx? I tried converting this but engines dont want to run or start. Even loading in on the runway the engines instantly shut down. The startup sound is constantly playing im not sure what is wrong thanks!

I can't make the nose wheel steering work. I have nws axis bound for an axis (same as rudder axis) and a key for set nws to limit. I"m using xbox. msfs2020

Hi Brett, I am brand new to simming. I am looking for a Luscombe Silvaire / Luscombe 8 for MSFS 2024. My Dad's 80th is in January and he used to fly one for years, so being able to surprise him for his 80th birthday would blow his mind. I am aware this video is a 3 years old and this was in MSFS 2020, but I literally cannot find anyone or a way to get this aircraft to import into Microsoft flight sim 2024.

Good stuff, I remember as a kid cycling down to Auckland Airport to watch the F27's come and go. The Dart turboprops sounds were awesome., I love these planes.

Hi, Thought I'd leave a comment on this video as I saw you ran into some issues with the aircraft throughout the stream. What caused the issue with the roll was that you forgot to turn on your radio masters, locking the attitude indicator into the 90 degree bank indication. In future, if you see your instruments like this, don't take off - even on a casual flight it will make things much harder for you and is a sign of further problems. What made it worse was trying to engage the autopilot. It seems to be tied to the attitude indicator, and while I don't think the behaviour here is correct, it's not designed to be used with the radio masters off. It looks like it got confused and tried to match your aircraft to the attitude being indicated. This set your aileron trim all the way to the right, causing the steep right bank. You can see it slowly moving left when you press the disconnect button. I noticed you created your flight plan with RNAV waypoints. The F27 can't fly these unless you're using the GPS. I'd suggest you use something like Skyvector or the internal VOR flight planner in Simbrief to plan flights for non-RNAV aircraft. This will also act as a reminder for you to turn on the radio masters, as you can't set up for the flight without them on when you need to set up your nav radios and HSI first. The radio altimeter turns on by turning the knob on the top right clockwise, not by pulling it. The aircraft won't float/land long if you get flaps 16.5 out before you start down. The jumps between up, 11 and 16.5 are the most severe. After that you can get away with bringing more out on the glide. More flaps will make it easier to get an accurate landing as things will happen slower. I've never had an issue with the nosewheel steering. I only have the axis assigned, not any of the other controls. You seemed to climb to cruise at takeoff thrust with water injection on. Without failures on, you will get away with this. In the real aircraft, this is a very easy way to fail both engines. If I may suggest it, I would recommend you learn the aircraft before you stream it. I understand you are a more casual streamer, but speaking from experience, I was a member of the production team of another (similar) youtuber for a while and found it very frustrating waiting for him to catch up or instruct him after an issue caused by not knowing the aircraft at all. In the end I felt like it was a job to join his streams, not something I was doing in my free time - imagine how your subscribers would feel, or how potential subscribers would view it. On top of this, it's not fair on the developer to call his aircraft broken when all the issues were, I'm sorry to say, caused by user error. The F27 most definitely can be started from cold and dark. I wish you the best of luck with the F27 going forward, have a great Christmas!

Back in the 1970's and 1980's I flew extensively around Australia in F27's as a passenger. Mainly in South Australia and the Northern Territory. One funny story is the F27 had a design failing with the front wheel down indicator switch,mainly that it was exposed to the elements and during winter if they landed on a dirt runway mud would be thrown up into the switch causing it to be inoperative and not give 3 green for landing. My childhood home was just off the flight path for YPAD (Adelaide) and if we heard a F27 circling the airport you knew he had landing gear issues. Turn on the radio (Yes I am that old) and on the news there would be an story about a F27 with landing gear issues. I also flew in many f27's in the Northern Territory and the issues with the F27 in the wet season are hilarious. I definitely will download this aircraft for nostalgia's sake and many of my flights were in that Ansett livery. Great video thanks mate.
