The first one looks perfect to me, but the second one, what is the part stops the centrifugal force?
Driving cams interlock driven "pins", so there is no movement of output shaft between indexed positions.

I like your cam follower animation. I have made different type of cam follower mechanism. In general cam follower mechanism We rotate cam, follower move up and down according to cam. In my cam follower we applied force on cam through follower. And this force rotate cam. And it creates energy.
