Hi! I'm Jamie and I am a street art-obsessed, crochet artist/literature enthusiast/travel addict. I have lived in 6 different countries around the world, travelled to 29 and have recently added videography to my list of hobbies. My videos are primarily about the travelling I do, but also the events around the places I am currently living in. Follow along to see what I get up to!
A Day with Diego Rivera & Frida Kahlo: Their Home, Studio, and Anahuacalli Museum
A day spent exploring the Casa y Estudio de Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo, two iconic locations tied to the lives and works of these legendary artists. The visit begins at their shared house and studio, where Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo created some of their most famous works. This historic site offers a unique glimpse into their personal and creative spaces, reflecting both their artistic collaboration and individual practices.
The journey continues at the Anahuacalli Museum, a stunning building designed by Rivera to house his collection of pre-Hispanic art. The museum showcases the deep connection Rivera had with Mexico’s indigenous culture and history, blending modern architecture with ancient artifacts in a breathtaking way.

Hello Hope you are well. I always enjoy watching your videos. You are working hard to grow your channel. Why can't I? Because your channel has some problems. What do you want to see? I can show you. And help you fix the problems. If you want, I have a big plan for your channel: how to grow your channel and how to increase views and how to promote in front of people.
Hello. Thank you for sharing your tour of the temples. I also enjoy visiting temples when I visit Thailand and Cambodia. I would like to offer a piece of friendly advice to you. The countries of this region are quite modest in dress, especially at their sacred sites. It is requested of visitors to Wats, Temples, Pagodas etc. to cover the shoulders and legs to a point below the knees.
Happy New Year friends!!! Cheers!!!🥂🥂🥂🥂😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Happy New Year! 🎆
Thank you Jose, Happy New Year
Thanks for not saying things like: "Did you expect Mexico City to be like this?" or anything of the sort.
Great experience!!!
Ignore the one who believes that in Mexico we ride donkeys, we live in deserts, we are pure partying, HOW IGNORANT... WE ARE MORE THAN THAT, WE ARE ROOTS, TRADITION, DEPTH, TIME, FAMILY, BLOOD, UNION... this Mexican land is a heritage, let no one dare to think that by coming to my country they can keep a piece of it. Only a Mexican by birth from great-great-grandparents can call themselves Mexican.
Happy New Year 2025 next week.
AMAZING place to visit. So peaceful. Was on my bucket list. So beautiful & the people of Mexico city make it such an amazing experience.

Hola visitors welcome to CDMX 😀
Oh great!!!, more americans screwing the city
Oh great!! More ignorant people assuming we're American because we're white.
True: Every mural has a story. Orozco, Rivera and Siqueiros are some of the most important muralists. Rivera painted a mural in the Rockefeller center main building in NYC but it was erased because it was considered controversial. If you looked at each mural you will look at the chaotic Mexican history. Have a look at what each character is doing and you will get an idea of what the muralists thought of the events. True: Mexico city is a big city but there are a few facts that get confused. The actual size of Mexico city population wise is 9 million inhabitants similar than NYC. In the metropolitan area which includes parts of other state the population is 22 million inhabitants. It is strange but Mexico city is heavily populated in some parts and at the same time it has rural areas and towns. (Of course these rural areas are often unexplored by tourists). True: Mexico city is built in layers which can be seen. The prehispanic buildings were destroyed by the Spaniards then it came the French period were a lot of buildings were built then a waive of Mexican architecture left their mark and lately a modern architecture has emerged with more US influence than European. So buildings as well as murals tell how Mexico city has been changing. Treu: a lot to explore. One month is not enough to explore Mexico city and if you start traveling outside of its borders for short trips you will need more months....
Wow that's a lot of great information- thanks!
Tremendous Capital City!. Visitors quickly realize the history, art, culture, architecture and eclectic and delicious gastronomy. Mexico City is just fascinating, too much to explore and discover. Mexico has the largest number of UNESCO world heritage sites in the Americas!. Five in its Capital!
Yes, I am going to have to make plans to come again- I love it! And wow- I didn't know that about the UNESCO sites. Makes sense!
Bienvenidos
Great Video !! Next time go to SAN ANGEL, CHIMALISTAC and COYOACAN ( the Most Charming neighborhoods ) take a Walk in PASEO DE LA REFORMA one of the most important avenues, and visit the CHAPULTEPEC CASTLE ( was the only one Royal Castle in the Americas ), Don´t miss the Iconic SOUMAYA MUSEUM , if you Love Huge Parks, visit PARQUE LA MEXICANA ( Awesome park, Lakes, Cafes, Restaurants, beautiful landscape and Amazing Architecture) México City has trendy neighborhoods like CONDESA and ROMA, they are really beautiful.
Added to the list! Thanks!
Happy holidays.
MERRY 🎄 CHRISTMAS!!!
@andirv5926 😀
No es un festival. Es un ceremonial de recuerdo e introspección.
I think it fits the definition of festival. This is what the online Oxford Dictionary defines "festival" as; Dictionary Definitions from Oxford Languages "noun a day or period of celebration, typically a religious commemoration. "a tabulation of saints' days and other festivals" Similar: celebration holy day feast day saint's day holiday anniversary commemoration day of observance rite ritual ceremony an annual celebration or anniversary. "highlights of this year's pumpkin festival" an organized series of concerts, plays, or movies, typically one held annually in the same place."
@onceuponaglobe Según todo eso, conmemorar con todo el ceremonial el bombardeo nuclear sobre Hiroshima y Nagasaki, el holocausto, etc. Es un festival. Algo no es muy acertado en esa definición.
No, the bombing of Nagasaki and the holocaust you mentioned are historical events, not the same thing.
4:00 hope you didn't get sick after that rain. In Malaysia umbrellas are usually a must . Thanks for visiting Malaysia

Wow, what a amazing place! But what happened to Robot Restaurant?
Samurai Restaurant is apparently run by the same people who did Roboy Restaurant. I wonder if they wanted to redo the show to boost local attendance?
I live in Oaxaca just on the edge of Xochimilco, you did a nice job of showcasing the street art.
Thank you! What a beautiful place to live.
Hope that you guys have had a good time at the Universal Studios in Orlando.
I didn't realize it until this video, but they most have chosen not to keep the giant saltwater fish tank. They moved the cafe from the 3rd floor to the second floor (I think). The original one on the third floor had a giant fish tank that was shaped like an archway so as you walked in you had exotic fish all around you. Also dumb fun fact that not many people know. Maybe about 15 years ago they shut all of the lego land down to rebuild bigger and better lego creations. 2 days before they were set to launch one of the arms fell off and shattered, something about rushing an issue with the glue, but the group that was building it worked tirelessly over those two days to make sure it was ready.
Ooooh here I thought we were in the original Rainforest Cafe. I believe there's an aquarium archway in the one in Orlando- maybe they moved it there? Also, very interesting about the lego store- dramatic!
Great review. The dragon pass site lists lounges by airport that accept their pass, for advance planned entry. The newer WestJet Elevation Lounge at YYC accepts Dragon, it offers table service, and in my opinion, has better quality food that is delivered to you. The Elevation Lounge is a step above for infection control given the reduced interaction with infected public at food stations. Aspire has a both domestic and US trans border lounges in addition to the international lounge reviewed here.
Oh good to know! I'll test out the Elevation Lounge next time I'm in Calgary 👍
Nice video!
