We've had the chance of testing the Reef Bandits stickbait. Fishing in Le Morne, Mauritius.
Back in action after a few idle weeks.
Summer is nearly round the corner, and Trevally season is already on.
Catching some biggies on the usual McCarthy soft baits and two pretty Bluefin on the Reef Bandits 30g stickbait.
Pretty looking bait, with some mind blowing action.
Will be spending the next few fishing trips, trying to catch other pelagic on this beauty.

Uploading after such a long time. We've had some major issues with our Gopro and ended up losing yet again so much footage. Might switch to the Osmo if need be. For the last weeks of Winter, we've fished the offshore reefs of Le Morne and surprisingly caught some nice sized fish, some big bust ups and breaks on light tackle. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience. A short video from last Sunday's session. Unluckily we tested positive to Covid, 24hrs later. Nevertheless it was a nice session. A few catches only but we had the chance to meet a few friends. Just like we anticipated, the fish were au Rendezvous. Started on a solo session, only to be joined by the brother. We switched spots, and the bites were on. I fished with the McCarthy 2.5inch paddletails, set on a 5grms Jighead. Crazy new colours available at Izumi Systems Ltd and Aquarius Ltd. Extended boat Session last Sunday. The weather was VERY VERY windy, but the sun was on point. An early glimpse of Summer??! Maybe It was nice being on the water, the bite was ON!! The fish bit like crazy. Lots of bait fish, hinting towards the swarms of Trevallies. Many fish caught, and a prized size Trevally on the light setup. Hello Walter, Thank you on being so conscious about the catch and release practice. This video was made a year ago or so, but as easily as I remember I must have caught a few fish, which I filmed and kept for food. A lot more undersized or oversized , less tasty fish not filmed and released 😊 But this does not underline you choosing my videos across thousands or millions of videos on TH-cam, to vent out your feelings. Look out for videos where they talk about mass murder of sharks for their fins, sharks massively contributing to the ecosystem of earth's marine life, Overfishing tuna, breaking down pristine forests for wood supplies, and millions of bees killed in the process of Avocado pollination. This being said, thank you again.
