May I know how low does the temperature get during the fall in your location. Is a cold winter dormancy needed for this rose to bloom ?

Using toilet bowl cleaner is a really great idea. I have always used cleaning vinegar to etch. Just make sure you use a 100% acrylic primer. You definitely did your homework Momma! I would hire you definitely!!(40yrs paint contractor).🥰

Thank you for such a great informative video on a much needed area of gardening to learn. Years ago, i stumbled upon a species of hardy geranium that was very tiny, but formed a low spreading mounds similar to you sedum. i wish i could find it again ! On a side note, to give you an idea of why "Creeping Jenny" doesn't like dry conditions or CAN'T, this plant is also sold as a freshwater aquatic for fish tanks, where it grows quite well and rather happily !

This is why I wanted to come and find reviews on TH-cam. I’ve bought metal products from gardeners supply for my garden and I was not happy at all, very cheaply made foot that goes into ground short and cheap and the metal bends with just the shade cloth and some winds. I agree products are overpriced for the quality that you get.

You don't need any fancy equipment and no need for apologies. Your videos are great and SO informative! They are really helpful and encouraging to beginning gardeners like me. They make me feel like there is so much that's possible if I just learn from others. I always thought I couldn't do it, because I wasn't a natural green thumb. But if I can decorate my house (I do that well!), then I can decorate my "outside house", too. :) Thank you for all you do!

This is such great info! Your garden and the way you describe it - how nature would grow things and not like everything is so "placed" - is exactly what I have always dreamed of! Thank you so much for sharing what you've learned and helping us all try for something as beautiful and calming as your garden. <3

Great video! We did this over the weekend with placing the stones in the lawn in heavy traffic area that grass would never grow! I live in New England but was born in PA and lived in the tri-state area. I knew as soon as you said “wooder” that you were from my neck of the woods!🤣 I’ve been in New England for over 30 yrs and still say “wooder”! My kids laugh about it all of the time!

I have to point out that most of the stones you are laying seems to be rocking, and no, they will not fix themselves. Merely dragging a straight edge of lumber around on the ground prior to lay the stone back would single-handedly eliminate most rocking.
