Bit of artistic 70s top of the pops style effects with the lights ( something on the lens) and camera wobble but sound still good

Damn! So tight! IA's voice and BD's licks!!!
fabulous
Is the audience alive?
Toyah murders another song.
Can't imagine Robert thinks this is any good. Bro sets such high standards for his KC bandmembers. I wanna know what he's really thinking 😂
Looked like he was just letting his hair down
For those that have noticed - the reason for the out of tune guitar solo at the end of Here and Now is that I broke a string on my guitar at approx 4:47, some guitarists/musicians will understand that when this (rarely) happens it can throw the whole instrument out of tune, especially with a floating tremolo system on a Fender Stratocaster. A decision had to be made: do I stop playing and kill the vibe and intensity of the performance, as Iain is unable to cover for me as he’s playing acoustic… or carry on as it’s near the end of the song anyway? No right or wrong decision IMO. Have to admit tho, it does sound f**king awful! It happens. However, there’s a ton of vids on TH-cam of me playing this song where there is no string breakage.
Great gig Kris. End of the song and totally lost in the vibe so didn’t notice on the night.
Ahhhh, the unmistakeable sound of a Gretsch white falcon
My man on fire...
And 'Baby's on Fire"-Fripp is one of the all timers
I absolutely love you sing that song perfect thank my favourite song of David Bowie 👍🌹🎤🎸🐝
Whoever mixed this diserves a raise 😂 the quality of the sound is absurd
I've seen del Amitri 5 times since the 90s and this was the best i've seen or heard. absolutely brilliant. and such fun.
Terrible
I assume you are referring to the audience. Never seen a more static crowd.
Such a Fabulous experience seeing you all last night, You all looked outstanding and well the sound... I was in heaven !!! Love you ❤
Brill! - but why have the 'rhythm' guitarist stuck behind a screen! Stick him out front, we get it.
They didn’t get permission and the band has specifically asked people not to post their own footage.
Got to admire the fkn energy 👌 👏 brilliant 👏
Thank you!
Sound quality not good
Sound quality pretty good actually.
I was there (I can see the back of my head in this vid), the sound was excellent.
Great to hear drowned on dry land in my home town. Thank you.
4:48 what the hell's happened to the guitarist!
I think he forgot which song he was playing! He certainly forgot which key it was in😲🤣 🙉
OMG! And the original recording is an exemplar of what a sublime guitar solo should sound like. It must have been Harvey or David Cummings on the original, not this garbage attempt.
I was in the front row directly in front of the guitarist he snapped a string and it threw all the rest out of tune due to the tremolo 👍
The guitarist snapped a string and got threw the rest out of tune
Hw snapped a string I was directly I'm front of him and it threw all the rest out if tune due to the tremelo
It was amazing ,a moment ❤!!
Wonderful! Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Fantastic. Followed them for years but the first time I’ve seen them live
Seen them first time in 1992 and a few more times through the years.. never disappoint 😊😊
Great Band !
Was there last night seen them a few times over the years but not for quite some time still an awesome band👍👍👍🤘
Yes they are! Fingers crossed for one more album
Now that’s what you call a great guitar sound! Wow! The whole band rocks:)
They’re the best! Still. After all these years. Goosebumps yet again. 🖤
What a beautiful song. Beautiful music, beautiful lyrics.
Glad you enjoyed. It was a really lovely gig
@@adstarra5119❤
Looks like a relatively lively crowd unlike Swansea when I saw them a few days earlier 😳
Ian is 62, Billy is 63 - it's incredible how fresh and how inspired they still do sound and perform 😍
Nice hiding the keyboardist/rhythm guitarist stage right behind road cases. WTF?
They still keep awesome. Great rock band
Love the cult, but this song's a bit crap :)
They were better as the Southern Death Cult.
vocals are on point.
His voice hasn’t changed at all…..wow!
I saw him channel Morrison on stage in Manchester aand he really nailed it for me as if I was up there meself hehehe... 2005 I think it was maybe 2004. Got a red tee with the tour cities on it. As someone who used to channel the Lizard King myself back in the day - Gloria(DV), Roadhouse Blues (AP version, scat syllable perfect ha). Soul Kitchen(AL version with a mid section after the solos of me singing Summertime/Fever/St James Infirmary, just like on Vancouver BC 1970 only the Doors did it with LMF. I arranged it with Soul Kitchen. About 10 mins long it was, it was wild). I did lol Break on #2 version cos funkier... Moonlight Drive, LOVED croonin' that. I did Unknown Soldier - collapsed on stage haha as ya do if ya gonna perform that. Five to One cos inevitability ha, Changeling, Wild child, Crystal Ship another croon, Who Do You Love with that slide, exquisite live on AL, so had to cover that tour de force, Peace Frog, funky, Maggie McGill, funky. Kingsnake, blues croonin. Mack the knife/Alabama song(Stockholm 68 version) which has a unbelievable intro from Robbie. I think I did Love Street. Indian summer and the spy once too. So yeah I have experience hehe and he was fucking fire. I'm plasma though haha, I Fcking LOVE channeling JImbo. I miss it. I wanna start a tribute band and KILL IT all over again lolo
One of THE BEST guitar riffs EVER… combined with stunning vocals. Still on my playlist decades later 👋
What an amazing video. I love this and this band Embrace. These are two of my very favourite songs. Thanks for video.
It was a great gig. They played the same venue last week and I missed it 🥲
wow IA on super form there - power back in the voice. Great to hear! And a proper looking mosh there in Brizzle as well.
Can’t wait to see them Saturday !! 😀 My first time of seeing them live 💃💃💃💃🥁🎸
Man, Ian’s singing is just bad. If he put as much effort into his voice as he does his dancing, it might be a good show.
I remember first listening to China crisis in my youth i bout the albums working with fire and steel and flaunt the imperfections on vinyl if u can get them buy them
I remember seeing this band in Nassau Colosseum I think it was 1989. open for Metallica. He had a long white fur jacket on and super shiny long hair. He look like a rock God..
Why hide the second guitarist/keyboard player?
Pure class, thank's for posting!
Sound incredible 10 out of 1o. But my grannie wants her clothes back. Please it’s her Sunday. Shopping dress.
Great tune….WTF is Ian wearing ? Alrighty then…. Anyways always been a huge “The Cult” fan. Great stuff and they still sound great. I traveled to go see them in Shreveport, La in like 88/89 ? Billy Duffy’s amp was having issues and he ended up kicking them all off the stage mid concert…lol.
10 out 10 sound but he took my granny s Sunday shopping dress. Will he give it back
Nice one man. They've still got it ! Ian still crazy rocker 🤘
Brilliant band
