F30 Windshield Cowl Replacement
Finally! I am replacing the windshield cowl on my F30. A somewhat unnoticeable part but viewable if you look for it. My cowl started cracking all the way down the windshield roughly a year after I bought it. Now, I am one step closer to cleaning the car up real nice.

how’s the drone inside ? just got a 335i in this same spec and want the resonator delete but i want to keep the inside quiet like how it is factory
No major drone at least from my perspective. These cars are relatively quiet even upon hard acceleration. You may notice a little bit, but cruising you’ll barely notice anything at all. Thank you for watching.
I had mechanic install a catless dp from vrsf on my 435i (f33) and man did the performance change. I also had installed a front mount intercooler, and chargepipe. I also tuned it to stage 2 using mhd and man it seemed like a whole different car. I think i went from 300hp to around 360hp. But the kicker was i couldn't handle the smell that the catless dp came with. Way to strong of a smell and plus it was my daily. I had to go back to stock but saving up for a high flow catted dp cause i miss those performance gains. Also my gas was running out far quicker on stage 2 so just something to think about
yea, tuning with added bolt ons is night and day in comparison to stock. Although ive never dyno'd this car, stage 2 with required supporting mods makes more than 360whp on 93 octane which is over 400hp on the motor. Next up will pure turbo upgrade and a high pressure pump. I am looking to get to 400whp one day. Good luck and thank you for watching!
I installed my charge pipe everything went well except the the little plastic clips for the vacuum line that connect to the charge pipe and the air intake broke I’m replacing it but I was wondering was it difficult for you to put on when you replaced the charge pipe ?
it certainly was especially since it was my first time on this car. fitting the top of the charge pipe to the intake manifold required some muscle to snap into place. Then connecting that top pipe to the lower pipe required patience and manuvaring to get them to fit but i did it. Just be patient, keep your eyes open and tightening everything good. Be careful with the vacuum lines for the new ones, they are still fragile. Good luck and thank you for watching!

I gotta give credit to the F30 platform. It is still one of the most beautiful designs ever to come out of BMW. With a nice set of wheels and a good stance it’s still one of the best looking 4-door sedans.

So does res delete increase turbo spool? My oem exhaust doesn’t spool this much

Hi after installing my downpipe to my bmw x5 e70 n55 is it normal to smoke a bit of blueish when reving the car . i didnt have that smoke with the stock downpipe 😢 what could be ?

I can’t stress it enough to n55 owners if you are driving and you hear a bomb go off Check your charge pipe. These pipes are notorious for sounding like grenades when you blow them due to all that pressurized air getting out

that sounds like you might have an exhaust leak somewhere. A trumpet sound is new to me. did you disconnect anything else like a vacuum line etc? Not sure i can help but ill do what I can. thank you for watching

@@dndxander if the sound originated once the downpipe went on then I assume the holes near the other end of your exhaust shouldn’t matter. I would double check fitment and retighten any and everything you touched or removed and go from there.
Shit it was a pain in the ass getting one of the panels from undercarriage off shit was cracking and scraping the ground so i had to do it in the walmart parking lot using a adjustable wrench and having the car sitting on rhino ramps. Boy was i pissed

Is this sound is only from delete center muffler? Or if I want this "shots" I must to code it?
Hey man. I deleted the Center muffler or “resonator”. My burble shots are from my tune but some people experience burbles or shots when they remove the resonator but it won’t be as aggressive as this.
honestly the aggressive burbles arent it, i got a awe mid pipe which deletes the resonator and the pops are so much better in comfort. you get small pops and sometimes loud pops when you get of throttle. 6spd manual here and when you get the perfect shifts itll pop between the shift aswell. also when i put the clutch in itll pop. sound a lot more mature and way better than just POP POP POPOPOPOP, those are annoying.
