I have had the privilege of Col. Gabriel as our Guest conductor and Dale as guest soloist with the Greater Miami symphonic band. Col. Gabriel does not conduct with the score in front of him and in rehearsal he will stop and go back to a measure. For example let's go back to measure 117 at the dotted half note and I have to look at him and really does not have a score. Genius! We will have him as a guest conductor in march!!
