wonderful control of pace, flourish and subtlety. I can't describe it very well but the flourishes are like mini explosions and yet beating the skin is so measured.

Modern Scottish bands suck. Totally feminine. They're NOTHING compared to 1940's-1990's bands like all male Braceheart Strathclyde Police 1980's. Modern pipe bands are an EMBARRASSMENT. What a bunch of Woke PC wimps!

Pipe banding since 2000 has been effeminized. Just like the rest of Western Society. Long gone are the all male, awesome, Braveheart male pipe bands like Strathclyde Police and Edinburgh Police or Shotts with A. Duthart. 24 yrs ago pipe banding went Woke sissy boy. It's disgusting.

The dynamics are too extreme on the piano end, way too soft on the soft notes, and there are way too many soft notes. And to all you who are about to type, "HE WON THE CONTEST AND HE IS A WORLD CLASS DRUMMER SO IT SHOWS HOW MUCH YOU KNOW!!!" I say this: I don't give a rat's tail who wins what contests. I care about what's musically enjoyable and what isn't. This isn't. HIT THE FUCKING DRUM.

This is the best drum corps I have heard in over 20 years being in pipe bands myself. What this young man has achieved in his short years is outstanding, Kerr's drum corps, and solo endeavours are going to be difficult for anyone to match. What a joy to watch !

Excellent all round - most impressive and enoyable! I've followed Boghall & Bathgate Pipe Band since I first saw and heard it when it played in it's first contest, without uniforms, 50 years ago. The many who built, developed and have sustained this organisation musically, for and within the local and wider community, deserve the highest praise for their work. A credit to West Lothian and Scotland!

Dude is an absolute beast!

Those triplet rolls at around 02:07 sound like that they should not be possible 😮 ... This is a display of pure talent and endurance. To keep that high level of playing up and the speed he is playing at, plus keeping it clean and musical is a very hard feat indeed. This young man is at the top of the game at a young age, and I am watching it all unfold with great joy and wish him nothing but the best.
